Yes. Seats and sightlines are the other problems.
Maybe in some years we will see some better seats and i hope just 2 colours.

this stadium is beautiful but deceiving. It looks like it should be HUGE! but as you get closer to it its looks smaller. And when you see someone standing at the gate its like... ummm, this was a tease on the massive side.

I'm not surprised they're having problems with the pitch. The steepness of the stands, the upward sloping roof, and the lack of any transluscent properties in the roof combine for terrible growing conditions.

I had occasion to see it in place two days ago. I would say that it has bad construction quality.

Why? It`s not the same as many new 30k stadiums that only change the color of the facade, more or less.

I didnt see it in real life but just looking at pictures it feels cheap. Still, better than nothing.

Kayseri Kadir Has Stadium opened its doors in the beginning of 2009. It had been built by Kayseri Municipality and now used as the venue of Kayserispor.

For UEFA Euro 2016 the Kayseri Kadir Has Stadium will be renovated to meet regulations and requirements. The c-values have been improved to a minimum c=90 for all seats. Furthermore the VIP hospitality area has been extended, media facilities have been brought up to date, and public restroom facilities improved.

In addition to the football and hospitality functions, the stadium in its post tournament state offers a range of provisions such as club offices for the Kayserispor FC, a football museum and fan store, a high performance centre and the TFF Anatolia Education Centre and High Performance Centre (for women).

The local government aims to develop the stadium and its surroundings into a “sports centre” in cooperation with Atatürk Sports Centre for Track and Field (together with the Kayseri University), further featuring a convention and business centre for top level conventions in the VIP range and a (sports) hotel with banqueting facilities.

The stadium is well connected to the rest of the city, including its airport, city centre and fan zone by an extensive network of public transportion that is already in place. Furthermore, various extension projects are being implemented every year and by 2014, it will be possible to reach the stadium by using this improved public transport network of buses and trams.

Really beautiful...

Would look wonderful if they did all of the seating in the varying blues with unpainted aisles, the other half seems kind of ugly solely on the seat and aisle colors, to me at any rate. Like the exterior, kind of quirky but fun and modern.

Low budget, but the architect was very inspired. Also, respect to the local authorities, who accepted this project, instead of something more conservative.

Anyway, this stadium is a real beauty, one of my favorites. Without exaggerating, i must say that i like this stadium more than Allianz Arena, Wembley, or other billion dollar stadiums. (of course, i'm talking about the design, not the quality, the interior comfort, etc.)
Turkey should really get a Euro or a World Cup, if nothing else, than just because they have been building some excellent sport facilities in the past few years. With efforts like these they'd really deserve it.
