Kinda looks like the Arizona Cardinals new stadium.

To be hounest I do not know what to think about it... the renders are not from a very high quality. but it seemes to be that it will not be a standard stadium, which is a good thing. I am talking about the roof (the roof, the roof is on fire!) The seatings seem to be a nice round bowl, but I cannot see it that good.

it's announced that it will be the mondernest stadium of Turkey. This stadium and new indoor sport and culture hall are financed by a very rich Kayserian businessman who has also a private university, as a gift to his hometown.

^^ You know what, I totally agree with you :okay: I hope that this will act firstly as a catalyst to ensure other cities build new stadia, but secondly and more importantly that we will see a rise in popularity of other clubs outside of the "big four".

Kayserispor have already won the Turkish Cup and have competed in the UEFA Cup many times - they have all the attributes of an up-and-coming club, and with this stadium, I hope another team will be added to the largest of Turkey's Super Lig.

Good updates of this very nice stadium. There is a boom in stadium building in Turkey right now. That can only be good for Turkish footbaal. Soon they can bid to host a big tournament. Are there any plans in Turkey for that?

There are plans on the table to bid for the 2016 European Championships but of course no official bid has been made yet.

We already hosted the 2005 CL final and this year's UEFA Cup final will be at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium too. Antalya hosted this year's U-17 Euro champ'ships too :)

Genç, there is no offical bid yet because process for bid didn't start offically. But Turkey has openly announced her candidacy for EURO 2016.

Its a new and modern stadium, so for sure the average attendance will rise, but i do not think that it will be 30,000.
I would guess more like 18,000 - 20,000

I hope stadium will be completed in two months. Maybe Kayserispor will reach to the group stage in UEFA Cup (i don't think so) and host major european team in one of the most modern stadium in Europe for the present. This will be huge step for our anatolian cities that is waiting for recognition in tourism aspect.

I wish we could have the pix of other facilities around the stadium.

According to an Architect who is involved in tis project it will be finshed next april / may

opionion of the constructor is more important than the any architect who just joins a part of the project. There is offical agreement wich has been signed.

But i don't think that it will be finished in 1-2 months.

I thik it will be open with the second half of the league.

almost 2 years delay if inauguration will be made in april-may. I hope TT Arena will be completed due to schedule.

also other facilities are nice too. sport hall is small but swimming pool is nice. I also like athletics complex. I wish the photo coul show the tenis center as well.

Exactly - it's really starting to take shape now...I'm sure the bare land around the buildings will be covered in grass and trees by the time theyre finished as well.

at last our media and TV's realized this stadium. Finially newspapers made report about it and yesterday I saw many channels, like CNNTurk, represented the stadium.

Comrany belongs to Kayseri Municipality... There was another compnay before but they slowed down the construction and said they had no enough money to continue and stopped the construction. Then Municipality broke the agreement and gave to job to its own company and they will complated the stadium construction a few months later.

Sure. Especially in Kayseri it can be very cold (-20°)
Maybe a moveable roof + heated pitch would have been better :D

unfortunatelly yes! Espacially Central Anatolia cities. The climate is very tough, summers very hot and dry, winters are very cold. Grass of the picthes have always problem.

This is why they use immmitation grass in Ankara this year. But players are unhappy with this syntetic material although it is confirmed by FIFA.

The roof is so unique.It is carried from outside with steel elements.So the fans don´t see steel elements from inside like in many stadiums.

The architect is very creative

Not worth it...it isn't that much space beetwen the rows is it?and the seats type doesn't help at all,but I guess these are much cheaper than the collapsible ones,whatever their name is.

I can't understand why idiots paint the stairs like this. This is not obligation. No harmony, no balance... looks disgusting and destory all view of the stadium. Just pure grey steats were enough.

Architect was against the yellow stairs and the ugly seats.
But TFF (Turkish Football Federation) wanted yellow stairs.
