View Full Version : A couple Alaska towns
xzmattzx November 6th, 2006, 03:41 AM Here are some pictures from Alaska that my friend took a couple years ago. We never see Alaska in here so this should be a refreshing change.
A couple pictures of Seattle, where his cruise ship left from.

Bond James Bond November 7th, 2006, 10:39 AM When I first saw the pics of Seattle in a thread titled "A couple Alaska towns," I thought it was a joke. :D
bob rulz November 8th, 2006, 12:22 AM I love the mountains in Alaska. Juneau always leaves me awestruck due to that huge mountain rising behind it.

svs November 22nd, 2006, 07:01 AM One of the most amazing things about the panhandle towns in Alaska is the bald eagles flying around town. When I was in Juneau, they were perched on the garbage cans.
cmoonflyer December 7th, 2006, 10:34 PM cool pics !
rider_of_rohan December 8th, 2006, 04:19 AM Nice pictures. Juneau would have to build one hell of a tall building to look any size against that back drop ":)
eweezerinc December 8th, 2006, 04:23 AM Juneau looks amazing! I love the green color of that water.
Rainier Meadows December 9th, 2006, 12:34 AM Very cool to see Juneau, my uncle lives there. :)
Cool to know that the only way in or out of Alaska's capital is by boat!
Slammed0 December 16th, 2006, 11:14 PM I want to visit Alaska sometime.
mSeattle December 18th, 2006, 11:57 PM Both those towns are in crazy cool settings! I see why locals who can do it visit there a lot.
USAPatriot December 19th, 2006, 07:12 AM I love those pictures, they turned out real well. Juneau is a nice town. I love the mountains there. Alaska is a great state.
Not to sound advertisey, but I posted Alaska pics in my Northwest Photo Gallery, but no one looks there... just a heads up.

It would probably be to your benefit to make new threads when showcasing new areas. Putting everything in one thread is bad because people think that if they've seen the pictures at the beginning, only discussions follow.
ALKUN December 22nd, 2006, 05:51 AM ALASKA looks great
