yea, it has always been a problem for me to find the construction details on Chinese websites.

This building is growing up fast, not at the "chinese speed", but I will take 5 floors a month any time.

The crown of the rendering looks gorgeous. It will quickly become the icon of the city.

great update zorg. this supertall doesn't look like the other which has a core inside and steel surrounding it.

yes, the pics seem to be really old. just compare them to the october update a few posts above :)

The article said it had 51 floors by November, so I think there'd be more floors by now.

Seems like they're just pouring the whole frame at once and adding elevators later, no core and exterior.

^^No, not topped out yet a few floors and most importantly the crown and the spire are missing. The crown is around 70 meters. Probably its 240 meters tall now.

Surely 333 means something in China, Also china wtc tower III's height is 333 metres. Not Fortune because its 9 but 333 what is that?

^^coincidence, Wenzhou World Trade Center was originally planned as 323m but they boosted the height, it doesn't have any significance though.

It doesn't really appear their is much progress since July. I'm kinda disappointed. I love the crown on the building. I can't wait to see that finished.

They said the final roof height is 333m and spire height is 372m, but I can't find any official source. Anybody could help me?

Wenzhou needs to add some 200m+ around this building to make a good skyline.

I think there's a small thin spire to be added to the top yet to come. Almost topped-out.

Has a royal look to it. Nothing fancy or mordern, but looks kind of royal like the pingan international finance centre .

Yes. But gladly they didn't change design and it turned out to be exactly like in the rendering. Maybe it was difficult to figure out how to properly do the crown.

Today the weather was a little better than the past week so I could see the top of the building a little better. It seems that what I thought is the skeleton, are the scaffolds and they are fixing the windows behind it.
Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me today, but I hope to be able to take some shots tomorow.

They already removed the east outside cargo elevator but did not yet add the glass face where it was.

Behind the scaffolds you can see part of the buildings uppermost glass face, but it's not yet completed on the entire south-front as well as on part of the east- and west-front.
A small spire is already mounted on the top of the building but I guess it's not yet the definitive one.

It reminds me somehow the towers in Philadelphia. I like it.

It has taken two years to complete the spire, almost the same they have spent to build the whole structure. Maybe there was a redesign problem with the crown?

Compared to the picture in post 183 (march), it appears only some of the curtain wall has been installed where the external elevator was located. Not much progress for two months...

For some reason this doesn't look like a supertall. Maybe it's because it's wider than most buildings that tall, making it seem shorter.

This tower with its blossoming lotus flower shaped top is certainly one beautiful jewel.
