asb63 November 11th, 2006, 03:28 PM Grand Real Estate Projects Co. of Kuwait signed a memorandum of understanding with the Jordanian government with the blessings of His Majesty King Abdullah II, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to discuss the possibilities to establish, operate and invest a commercial center in the heart of Jordanian Capital Amman at the cost of US Dollar 250 Million on an area of 20 thousands square meters, it comprises a shopping mall, a tower for major international hotels and a second tower for the offices and branches of international companies.

I disagree with you here as those towers do not require certain city features. The design is global as you said and fit any city. Bonyan towers are the ones which are out of place

The website does not provide much information, but does show the building from many different angles and the floor plans.
Would be very disapointing if it was cancelled, looks great and is a very nice design.
