Erm tays.. feel free to merge this if its part of another thread but I think we lost the old one (if there was one).

Anyway.. this forgotten about project down at the Docklands End of the Yarra is coming along quite nicely!!

It has just topped out in the past week and floorplates are not far behind.

Looking at it you can see how much it fits in with the aspect of the World Trade Centre complex .. should look quite spiffy when all competed and facade done.

Will try to get down for a pic soon.. unless silver your out and about?

Magnificent pic Phillip. Gawd thats so clear you can almost put your hand through the screen !

And Arunava.. as tays said elsewhere.. don't worry about the quality.. your pics are great also! The blurrier pics have quite a certain 'big smoggy city' atmosphere about them :guns1: which is cool.. so keep em comin!

This is another great "filler" for Melbourne.

I like it, because it complements the design of the World Trade Center whichwas looking very tired. With a bit of a paint job the WTC should actually now look pretty good. (Didn't Bracksie propose something like this?)

looks like the crane is coming down this weekend; wasn't used yesterday and has become progressively shorter this week (as has Southpoint's in the first pic)

This looks great. Now we need an apartment tower on top of the multi-storey car park behind it, fronting Flinders Street. It could be twice this height, due to the set back.

Grollo

Not long to go, another quaility tower. Damn the World Trade Centre is a disgrace, this has covered one side of it but the governmetn should really pressure the owners to redevelop the buildings because they are a blight on Docklands and the Yarra.

Hopefully all of the construction workers are slowly moving over to Royal Domain :-)

Wow.. now *THAT* is a grand looking apartment complex ...

Haven't been down there in a while.. great pix!

Ditto twofold on WTC .. but hey what can you do .. I hope they go ahead and tart up the old Missions to Seamen as well on the left side of Flinders Wharf there.. that great domed building would look fantastic with a spit and polish..

That's the plan A-brain, They should be starting work on the promenade and park soon as well as the restoration of the 'Mission to Seamans' building.

Cheers
