BD45m tower on the way
By SOMAN BABY

MANAMA: A new group of established businessmen has launched a BD45 million waterfront residential tower in Juffair.

The launch ceremony, held at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel and Spa last night, was attended by top government officials, leading businessmen and prospective investors.

The project is being implemented by The Developers company, which has been set up by a group of businessmen who have been involved in the construction industry for more than 30 years .

The Fontana Towers - A Walk in the Clouds, Juffair, facing the jet fountain, is the company's first project.

The seafront mega development has been designed by architectural and engineering consultancy group Aref Sadeq Design Consultants.

The project will feature 400 apartments along with four luxury duplex penthouses, in four interconnected towers, said The Developers project director Sandeep Chitre.

"The development value is estimated at $120 million and it will be the largest apartments building ever constructed in Juffair," he told the GDN.

Mr Chitre, an architect by profession, having 25 years of Gulf experience in the development field, said the project would be completed in 30 months.

"It will house freehold, fully equipped, luxury apartments, ranging from studios, one to three bedrooms and four state-of-the-art duplex penthouses with individual swimming pools," he said.

"Among the host of amenities are an exclusive health club for women, with a well-equipped and modern gymnasium, an indoor swimming pool and children's water park.

"There is also an outdoor pool with recreation and multipurpose hall, for the

use of both tenants and visitors."

The Fontana also offers 600 covered car parking spaces.

Real estate company Landmark Bahrain has been appointed the initial exclusive marketing and sales agent.

sounds good! looking forward to see some development on my next visit ;)

but just a question; the main road seen on one of the pictures... will this be built this century? or do i understand wrongly 'facing the fountain' as it's between al-fateh and the bahrain specialist hospital?

they said since months this mainroad will be built, but nothing happened...

“The Fontana Towers” – Bahrain 2nd largest project. Sea front freehold residential apartments, Studios, 1, 2, 3, 4 bedrooms for Sale starting BD 36,000/- onwards and to be completed on Sept. ’09.

this tower in my opinion is the best value for money project in bahrain. the studios are valued at 36,000 which is very cheap, and the 4 bedroom apartments are around 100,000.

Adel you want an apartment buy here.

Yes they have started construction, and they are on the same road as Somerset Hotel and Sukoon. This road will be constructed before the end of 2008 and starts from the billboard on the traffic light all the way to the new Sh Khalifa bridge. This will be a new entrance for Juffair
