Miniloc Resort
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/dxpsycho/MinilocResort.jpg
Miniloc Resort is at the southeast side of Miniloc Island. It is centrally located of all the El Nido Islands and is the best location if you want to explore all the beauty of El Nido Coves or Beaches.

Matinloc and Tapiutan Islands
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/dxpsycho/Miniloc_TapiutanIslands.jpg
From the left is Tapiutan Island and then Matinloc Island. From the right side of Matinloc Island, look at the lower right of the picture, there is a another secret beach, which is bigger and accessible by boat. You have to go to either side of the big rock to access the hidden beach.

Tapiutan Beach
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/dxpsycho/TapiutanBeach.jpg
This my favorite beach spot of all El Nido Group of Islands. It is situated on the East side of Tapiutan Island facing Matinloc Island overlooking Matinloc Shrine. It is a big area with two interconnected nice beaches when you go further north. Actually it is on Tour C when you go on a boat ride from El Nido Town. It is a good place to camp, but you have to get a permit from local authorities in El Nido Tourism Office.

Secret Beach
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/dxpsycho/SecretBeach.jpg
This is located on the west side of Matinloc Island, just below and after Mount Horn, if you came from Tapiutan Strait (from the north).

It's been a looooong looong time since I last went here. My childhood Sundays were spent here. What makes it less appealing today though is that it's getting overcrowded...unlike in 1990's. :

Wow, ang galing. Ganito pala makikita mo pag sobrang linaw ng kalangitan. Bicol region is formed by volcanic debris eroded to form its landmass. Despite the disasters brought about during the eruption of this volcanoes, Bicol region on the other hand is blessed with fertile soils and abundant source of geothermal energy. Ilan ba ang active volcanoes sa Bicol?

I'm surprised to see Ozamis this way, it looks like the have all those small to midrise edifices concentrated in one area and they all looks no more than 20 years old buildings. Very nice indeed.

if you were referring to the post w/ the pic below, there's no exaggeration at all FYI.

kung familiar ka sa davao city, the whole City Area starts from BUDA-west, Toril-south and Bunawan-north. now if we are talking about City Proper, it starts from buhangin-maa-west, matina-bangkal-south and lanang-agdao-north. and lastly, if we are talking about Downtown Proper, borders are bankerohan, boulevard, chinatown and quirino.

@king city said 15% ng City Proper ang pic na yan, so where's the exaggeration? eh sa pic na yan kahit downtown proper hindi pa nya sakop kasi di kita ang quirino, san pedro at boulevard.

even this picture (bajada district) is around 3 kilometers away from Downtown Proper but of course kasama sya sa City Proper, just to give you and idea.
http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/6974/4149478878c87588c24fb.jpg

sa mga hindi pa nakapunta ng davao siguro talagang mahirap paniwalaan na sobrang laki nito, pero heto sa google earth ang area na covered sa pic (yang maliit na white circle), at saka yung city urban proper naman (yan malaking red circle). if you look closely hindi ko na nga nasama ang international airport sa red circle pero it doesn't matter at all just to prove my point. i hope nakatulong ito for information lalo na sa mga hindi pa familiar ang area ng davao city.

Iloilo city Proper as shown is actually a Sandbar and spit created by river sediments from southwestern towns of the province and the sediments of Iloilo River. so soil is purely alluvial. that natural action of the rivers created one of the best ports in the country which is the estuary of Iloilo River. Deep enough to handle large ships and even competed with the berthing capacity of the Port of Manila in the 1800's to pre-war era. until now, the Iloilo Port complex is still one of the safest havens of sea vessels during typhoons in the country :)

Also aided by nearby Guimaras Island from winds, that's why it is considered one of the safest natural harbors in the country...

^^pero pansin ko lang ba't kaya di unison ang design ng teminal building from the tarmac (i.e. international side going to domestic) anong rason knowing construction was done at one time if im not mistaken...placing that columns at interior would be better, for as viewed now it spoiled the building aesthetics in its totality....IMO^^^^

natural talaga yan kasi malapit sa tubig. Water kasi is one of the most basic elements for a population or community to thrive. Accessible thru food, transport (sea crafts) and almost everything basta malapit sa body of water, moreover ang ilog kasi access ito from the sea to the uplands :)

And it did became Banda Aceh 30 years ago...my mom recounts that fateful night when Pagadian was struck with one of the worst natural disasters in Philippine history.

Luckily, Pagadian rose up quickly from that tragedy and was able to move forward. And lucky for Pagadian too to have that kind of topography as well.

its always been like that thats why their allegiance is more up north or the capital region and not to cebu as opposed to the people in major visayan and mindanao cities who are pro cebu.

they have always been insecure about their city not given the right exposure or credit when cebu is mentioned all the time. maybe they need to side more with cebuanos because theyre were born cebuano speaking and all the while they change their tongues.

try to listen to their sort of hymn/anthem "tayoy davawenos" and know where their allegiance is. at least cebuanos are comfortable with its own tongues and humble beginnings. but davao will catch up in due time so how dare not give them due recognition.

So you are butthurt because of that? kay porket tan-aw nimo dili ninyo "under" as what you are suggesting mao ka bitter? unsa diay ni dire kampo kampo with Cebu as the head of the Southern camp and we are outcasts kay suspetsa and Davao mas "bow" sa manila?

So because the tayoy' davawenyo hymn isnt in bisaya bitter na ka? whats wrong if dili naka cebuano ang official hymn sa Davao?

@MatudNila...I think we should reconsider that Davao is not 100% Visayan in its demographics...majority are but not all. Obviously, there would be some changes in the language due to the influx of migrants from all over the country, historically...and language as it is dynamic. You also have to look onto General Santos City and most especially Cotabato City as well. ;)

Anyway, sorry for the OT and the pakikisingit.
