Saigoneseguy November 16th, 2006, 03:10 AM So simple: tube house, xe honda. coolink November 16th, 2006, 07:06 PM no those are for the cities. people living in the countryside they still living in these 3-gian houses. I love this style: 1 storey building, very wide, many doors and windows open to 4 sides, red shingles, a porch in front (sometimes at the back too) kitchen and bathroom are separate building from the house, sometimes behind the main house, or beside it. it's so sad now when you go to the countryside and you see they build a multi-storeys tube house in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by rice field and cemetary. the traditional 3-gian house in the country side is very cool, (in all its form) you don't feel the heat in 3-gian houses, because they have large porches and many windows all around the house. wind just blow in like crazy, when the heat outside is above 30degrees. I've visited many houses like that in the countryside, and also tubehouses, believe me, tubehouses are hot and humid even if it's surrounded by many big trees. |
