The building under construction you see is not the tallest one of Fortune Plaza(260m) , its heigh is about 200m~220m

As far as I can see the 260 office tower is not yet even started. There is still the 3 floor old building in its place that was if I remember correctly an office furniture warehouse and still hasnt been demolished. To the north there is this new project full of cranes, which years ago I thought SOHO had purchased the lot, now I'm not sure about it.
Just a small fact about this interesting appartment building. Silvertie Center or Yintai center whatever the name sold fully in HongKong previously to its presentation in Beijing. It sold average 40.000 rmb sqm. Now sales are about 10.000 more second hand I guess. The penthouses which would be the most amazing blocks to hipe in the whole city I believe were expected to be "auctioned" from 80.000rmb sqm 3 months ago. I have no idea what is the present status.
Do anyone know about the sales price of the Fortune Plaza tall appartments?
The first appartment building which is about 120meters tall sold around 18.000rmb sqm. I wonder just because those two (Tall Fortune Plaza and Silvertie Center) are supposed to be the most exclusive residential towers in the city, far from hippest SOHO Shangdu that has been dealing at about 22.000rmb. Naga which is another project close to the russian embassy sold for around 30.000 but is just a small place.

as far as i know, the tall apartment(phase2)'s price expected to be btw 35000 & 45000rmb per sqm, and it will be openning on april 2007.

This would be a very nice tower, and is almost toppped out.

Construction on this tower may be completed in early 2008.

Thx for publicizing the pics.
Phase I, as is shown in the second pic, is 165.9m.
Phase II, as is shown in the first pic, is 199m.
Phase III, its render below (new design; don't know if it's the final), is 260m.
Phase III is yet to be built.
So the status of the whole project is still u/c.

Most of the Firtune Plaza plase II complex should be completed by now. By the way, I don't know about Fortune Plaza Phase I.

you are right, the picture shows Fortune II, the upcoming Fortune III (not U/C yet) is 260m tall.
