I think we should have a thread dedicated to this super star.

Brum was great - I used to watch it when I came home from school even as a teenager in the mid 90s! I'd like to see it again just to see some of the, erm, Brum sights and sounds. :yes:

i dont think you can miss out rosie and jim if your going to have a thread like this- i remember when they came to the merry hill centre - class!

Brum is on every day. Newish series too.

One of my housemates at uni was in an episode of Brum as a kid. He brings it up at every opportunity. Git. :nuts:

I loved it. I always wish I owned the car or owned the little house that it was in. I think I first realised it was set in Birmingham when it used to drive between the big rock balls in Victoria Square.

Well that's damn spooky. The first thread I see when I log in today is this one, and at this very point in time I'm sat with my son watching ... Brum ... and it's the Soccer Heroes episode too. :weird:

I saw them filming Brum in Viccy Square once - he is radio controlled and does loads of tricks!

I used to like Woof but I didn't know it was filmed locally. Although now I come think about it the girl in it did always said "Oh brilliuuunt(!)" in a sarcastic Midlands tone! In one series the dog had a naturally bright pink nose which amused me. :happy:

Does anyone notice he circled round "forward" in centenary square, it must have been filmed ages ago, are they still filming it?

The girl in Woof is Sarah Smart, now in Funland and other things. her family still ives in Weoley castle, though I think she lives in London now. Used to be mates with her brother. Haven't seenhim in a while though. Think he went to cornwall to be a beach bum.

Ahhh that's it, she was also the girl in the Braithwaites or whatever it was called. I've kind of followed her career even though I've only ever seen her in Woof!
