Maybe we need a seperate ODI and test captains as the Aussies did. It worked for them maybe let Smith focus on the test arena as hes contributing FA at the momnet and based on fiom would have been dropped if he wasent the captain.

if u look at the other guys in the team - they all get along with smithy very well.but i agree his attitude to other people/media is very abrasive and tough guylike - which isnt really the best way to get people to like you.he should be himself more.i was friends with his bro and they are really decent guys...
