View Full Version : JEDDAH l U/C l Al-Andalus Mall l Mall + Towers.
Riyadhi December 2nd, 2006, 02:45 PM Al-Andalus Mall
The site of the project has been chosen so accurately that it gains the approval of distinctive experienced malls because the population density is high there.
The project is located on the intersection of two vital roads (Prince Abdo-Allah Road and Prince Maged Road)
In order to achieve our target perfectness of the project, we have done the following:
The area of the land (198,000 m2) has been divided into three main units (Residential, Commercial, Office-related). Also we took into our consideration the independence of each unit in the design of this mall and the possibility of constructing and developing each unit independently of the others.

safqa_tijariya December 2nd, 2006, 05:15 PM great project for jeddah
Skoulikimou December 2nd, 2006, 06:18 PM ^^ we need some pictures from the construction site
does anyone know when the project due for completion ?
Unlimited December 2nd, 2006, 07:22 PM In fact, if the project is located on the intersection of two vital roads (Prince Abdo-Allah Road and Prince Maged Road), It will be bad idea. why did not put it in south jeddah to develop the bad situations there. Anyways, jeddah does not need any more projacts in the center , because in the center now, there is to much crowded area with cars and population, also there is no any advanced transportations, it will be solve the problem with these a new projacts.
Really, jeddah's population not lucky with these projacts if their government of jeddah not choose the good zone for them.

Why they don't reach whole these area by one projacts "centerl park" with a new advanced transportations, could be start fo a good inferstructure , for example, subways System, or urban ways System, and another solutions.

Mr Grosso December 4th, 2006, 01:54 AM Great very nice :)
Qatar Son 333 December 4th, 2006, 11:10 AM i say nice project
HiJazzey December 5th, 2006, 03:20 PM Which one used to be called Jawharat al Babtein? Central Park or al-Andalus?
Anyway, regarding both projects' location I disagree with you guys. It's an excellent location.
The old airport area is prime undeveloped land right in the heart of Jeddah.
Developers get what they want, in that they have green land, but it will develop and regenerate a part of the city that's been forgotten as the city moved north.
The area is going to become the city's transport hub with the building of Jeddah's central multi-modal transport station. This huge hub will have a train station for intercity services, a coach station, bus terminal, and there will be an interchange station for the upcoming Jeddah light rail project (the metro).
With the area's development, Jeddah will have a new commercial centre. And the development of the area will span the neighbouring districts. Areas like al-Kandara and Sharafiya will benefit massively, in fact I see with continuing investment in the area, the whole older part of town (Balad, Sharafiya Baghdadia, etc...) will become a proper downtown, the city centre.
HiJazzey December 5th, 2006, 03:26 PM Hi guys,
I remembered something.
I know Hyatt are opening a new hotel in Jeddah called "Park Hyatt" in 2008.
Do you think it's part of the "Central Park" project?
vue more December 5th, 2006, 07:52 PM also there are the OIC ( Headquarters ) project more then 20 towers
this area of jeddah will be hot hot
Riyadhi December 5th, 2006, 09:54 PM I have a question here,
Are those towers in the rendering also under construction or is it only the mall?
Saudi guy December 5th, 2006, 10:35 PM HiJazzey : i just disagree if that thing calld (central park) was mall , its bad plan to create two mall aside eche other:nono:
Riyadhi only mall U/C now ,maybe after finsh mall.
Saudi Dunes December 5th, 2006, 10:42 PM I found a website that had a model of the new Park Hyatt Hotel in Jeddah..
http://www.shalalat.com/images/8.jpg
Riyadhi December 5th, 2006, 10:47 PM I saw this model long time ago. I don't think it will ever get built!
Saudi Dunes December 5th, 2006, 10:53 PM I know, i posted this last year, but it makes sense, there is a shopping mall at the base, and then the hotel tower...now i found this picture at a different webpage than the other stuff I posted today, so i'm not really sure about it.
Saudi guy December 5th, 2006, 11:07 PM its looks good in pic but i can't remember any road that wide in these area.

Nothing,
they mentioned that Andalus Mall could have Park Hyatt with it. I told them what I found on Park Hyatt.... As simple as that.
gohorns November 2nd, 2008, 09:35 AM hmm...interesting..
There can't be 2 park hyatts..I guess the report is incorrect..
Saudi guy November 2nd, 2008, 11:48 PM bad plan to build two hotel close to each other and by the same operator.
XP November 3rd, 2008, 07:51 AM ^^ Come on, I'm not saying that Hyatt is operating something in Al andalus Mall. What I said is that Park Hyatt has nothing to do with Al Andalus Mall. That's it.
Mesch November 3rd, 2008, 11:28 AM Really! I'm happy for Jeddah..
But aren't you guys tired of building a mall after another mall.. it's a BORE!
and there's nothing significant in the design. It's just a mall with the same old retailers.
XP November 5th, 2008, 10:36 AM ^^
How many malls in Unaizah?
Saudi guy June 11th, 2009, 01:57 AM
http://www.aleqt.com/a/238515_38096.jpg
