Construction is not started yet. They plans to begin in dec-jan. He was a bit hurry to post it here.

The location of the project looks very suburban sprawl like.
it's on the half way between center and suburbs.

Though I'm all for many of Moscow's projects and I love the fact they are adding some major height, this project leaves a sour taste in my mouth. It seems like it's trying to do to many things at once.

i cant say that the black and white stripes should be kept.

Well the project looks amazing, the design of the curve looks very nice and modern; the height is good for a building of this desing, because I think that a building of thsi design requires a lot of enginering to build it.

The design looks great. But why don't they build all the new highrises in one big cluster instead of scattering them all over the city?

@Raptor. Don't worry. There is going to be a new skyline. Chinese Business Center will be built not far from. There is another plot not far from that suppose to have supertall buildings.

here is CBC Park Huaming project. should begin next year.

While some have expressed the idea that this building belongs in a Sci-Fi flick, I happen to be of the opinion that this design looks like something from a drug trip. Those odd stripes, coiling sheet things that culminate in spire-like features and strange bulges are reminiscent of trippy effects that were displayed during a History Channel show about the history of hippies/drugs I saw recently. Right now, these renders are too outlandish for my taste, however, it is true, as someone pointed out, that there is a significant difference between renders and a real building; in short, I am hopeful, and positive about the future of this structure.

July 28th, 2007, 08:37 AM
As someone said earlier, there is a slight hint of tradition with those stripes, alluding to the colourful domes of St. Basil's. I think they should have used the stripes more sparingly though.

Looks to me like the design plays off that Red Square building, especially the dome on the far left.

I think the design is good for Moscow. Wouldn't fit in any other city.

ha ha ha ..
I think design is absolute crap! Stylistically insolvent! Looks like something made either by 5 year old or by senile 95 year old. (I think the second is the actual case - some old fart who didn't have chance to realize himself in USSR in 70s decided to push for last chance…)
Funny, though, how foreigners tend to like it while Russians resent it. May be you, lads will take it off our hands? Pretty pleeeeeease with a cherry on top....
