That looks like one of the colorful lakes ( maybe 五花海 / five-flowers-lake 〕at Jiuzhaigou to me. But that place is in Sichuan Province, not in Tibet.

That is a phenomenum appearing because of high lime concentration in the water and a certain species of algae. Forgot how it works in detail though...

And yes, it´s the place where that duel in "HERO" between Jet Li and Tony Leung was filmed with "dead" Maggie Cheung laid out on that pavillon...

i have been to wuhuahai, an unbelievable place. but i didnt see any panda there, pity.:lol:
