Isnt the owner the idiot who defended Saddam? While he does not have a nice taste in his defendants, he sure does have taste building towers.

Great news! Actually this project has been pending for a long time, but now, the tower has been completely redesigned, and for the better, for the much better : ) It used to be a tacky 28F, now it's the double, 56F, lol, and with a great design! It has something of this tower is Abu Dhabi whose I forgot name : ) And yes Halawala the owner is the lawyer you are talking about! Anyways cool news!

You guys are saying that this tower has the same design as the one in Abu Dhabi or it was supposed to be built there??

By the way, 56F.. how tall it is?

They say the design is similar to the one in AD...
And at 56f I'd give it 200m at least!

Yes :)

I just checked, it's called ADIA Tower (for Abu Dhabi Investment Authority), and it's only 40 floors...imagine the same design in Doha for 16 floors more!

Not at all. There is no one crane at the construction site though excavation looks that it took place but work is just pending.
