FK December 18th, 2006, 02:01 AM Regarding that guy dissing Musharraf, I saw that video a while back and its just funny how he portrays himself as a strict person talking firmly with the President and then when Musharraf started answering his question (a few ended up in laughs by the crowd), the guy himself started laughing!

Lets face the fact that she is another expat who has lost the culture. And the video was done in India...

And by the way Fahad, how is this video that you posted any less provocative than the one I did? This is a music video, that was from a movie. Not that I mind either, and thanks for posting this one! Although I'd already seen it. Cheers.

What do we do with people who behave un-Islamic and the ones who attack the Islam? For me Islam is more important than Pakistan.
UnitedPakistan January 1st, 2007, 01:28 AM What do we do with people who behave un-Islamic and the ones who attack the Islam? For me Islam is more important than Pakistan.
Islam is not a culture but a religion. You can NOT do anything to these people and you SHOULDNT do anything to them. Let people live the way they want and do not try to force your views on them. You must learn to ignore or cover your eyes.
Metropole January 1st, 2007, 01:52 AM There's a very clear and openly declared plan in the West to promote "female liberation" in the Muslim world.
If you're a Muslim woman in the West and you're willing to criticize Islam you're assured immediate money, fame and security guarantees. That's why nowadays there's always one or other so-called Muslim woman who's either writing a book against Islam or stripping half-naked and singing and dancing. You will see many, many more in the future.
A lot of restrictions imposed on women in Muslim societies are way beyond what is sanctioned in Islam. Muslim countries need to go a long way to improve the standard of living for everyone, especially women.
But we need to watch out for the West imposing it's own agenda on us.

Source?
Al Jazeera?
Metropole January 1st, 2007, 02:11 AM Source?
"So, how do we advance the cause of female emancipation in the Muslim world?" asks Richard Perle in "An End to Evil." He replies, "We need to remind the women of Islam ceaselessly: Our enemies are the same as theirs; our victory will be theirs as well."
Richard Perle you may recall is one of the major strategists of the "war on terror", including the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq.
I can quote 100 more sources if you want.

siamu maharaj January 2nd, 2007, 06:59 PM hehe... 'progressive' indeed!
If that comment was on that video, then no, that's not her video. It's just the video by whoever remixed it. Or maybe put up by a fan.

That's at least the original song. I am in a hurry, so I just searched them for you people. I'd watch when I have time. I DO think the first one is just stills + pieces taken from her other videos.
Having said that, I'd not at all mind if she herself made a video like that. She's pretty liberal with her clothing, anyway. I, for one, have no issues with it. If anything, I appreciate it.
On another note, she looks horrible in most of her videos. Looks pretty decent otherwise. Maybe she needs help in that department. In fact, she definitely needs help in that department.

Metropole January 11th, 2007, 03:02 AM UP, I'll post lots of links but it will take me a couple of days to put them together.
Like I said previously - there's a plan by the Zionists to 'get Islam' by breaking off Muslim women from their religion. I promised UP to post some links but when researching the subject I found an overwhelming amount of material on the topic. Just google "muslim women neocon".
Here's one good link about Deeyah whose video got me started on the subject.
Deeyah: Next Anti-Muslim Provocation? (http://kurtnimmo.com/?p=252)
In the bestseller 'The God Delusion' the writer Richard Dawkins mentions an article by Johann Hari in the Independent (London) in which he argues that "The best way to undermine the jihadists is to trigger a rebellion by Muslim women".
There's a deliberate strategy being followed of promoting gender, ethnic, sectarian and other types of conflict in our region of the world and we need to watch out for it. It has relevance to a forum like this because some of the negativity may be promoted by agent provocateurs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Agent_provocateur) posing as Pakistanis.
And by the way, how do you spot the agent provocateur? He's the guy with the longest beard and the biggest national flag. He behaves ultra religious and ultra nationalistic and lead from the front. His 'ultra' behavior covers for the fact that he is just acting.

That Aneela girl is alright. I just hate it when people steal music. That's just sad. The video is nice, though. Apparently this girl was part of a successful Danish group.

In case anyone is wondering about my signature, it is a Farsi inscription from the tomb of Anarkali in Lahore, it reads:
ta qiyamat shukr guyam kardigare khish ra
ah! gar man baz binam rui yar-e khish ra
I would give thanks unto my God unto the day of resurrection
Ah! could I behold the face of my beloved once more
For me these people were simply out of this world...too awsome for words...and by the way the following video goes with this story - I've posted it before. Near the end they show the actual inscription on the tomb.

Here's a Pashto video

The dance is definitely pashto, so is the music, and the language is a similar language if not Pashto itself. But the place doesn't seem to Peshawaresque. Anyone got any idea what/where it is?

It's definitely NOT Pashtun women and the music has been added to a pre-existing video. Pashtun women don't wear mini-skirts, even in a 'liberated' Afghanistan. This video is probably from an ex-Soviet republic.
And by the way, what are you doing looking for Pashtun videos? I hope you haven't been looking at those fat naked ladies dancing.
siamu maharaj April 22nd, 2007, 08:45 AM The music wasn't added, as you can see tehy are dancing to the music. And I wasn't looking for any dances. This video just showed up in the sidebar while I was watching some ad's video. BTW, from what I've read, pre-Soviet Afghanistan was very liberal and women used to wear miniskirts in Kabul.
Fahad: Thanks. I somehow couldn't find it in the threads list.

moved_on April 24th, 2007, 02:15 AM Pushtun women dance is what lal Masjid and their Ninja Barbies try out first. This way they may even get some audience.
JADI May 17th, 2007, 02:03 PM could be pashtuns(even tajik) from Kabul! Kabuli pashtuns were very westernized before the russian invasion. Here is Sweden there are many westernized afghans(most tajiks and some pashtuns)
And regarding the fat ladies dancing in pashtun movies for the joy of afghan truck drivers.. all of them were brought in from Heera Mandi in Lahore.
Like punjabi Lollywood films the pashtun movies r not viewed by families ..their target is the drivers, thellewallah and so on.

Here is what that NatFimFestival(Denmarks biggest film festival) wrote abt this movie:
World Premieres
NatFilm Festival are delighted to present a very special world premiere on this years festival: The Pakistani horror movie 'Hell's Ground' ('Zibahkhana') directed by Omar Khan - the first true, gore-packed zombie-movie to come out of Pakistan. Featuring history's first muslim zombies (and midget zombies!) in a story about a group of teens who meet "Texas Chainsaw Massacre"-style psycopaths on their way to a rock-concert, producers are almost certain 'Hell's Ground' will not be approved for domestic release by Pakistan's censor board. 'Hell's Ground' is part of the NatFilm 2007 series 'Asian Horror'.

I don't know whether it's been posted before. I like this song! This particular version isn't really as good, though.
I like the song, and the girl is okay, but the dancing and choreography is awful. It seems like, after 30 years of mullah rule, no one in Pakistan knows how to dance anymore.

Pakistani and dancing should never ever be used in the same sentence. They are downright embarrassing to watch. How was the dancing back in your day? When we purportedly had clubs and drinking...

What screwed the entertainment industry was the ban on professional music, dancing and choreography. In other words, our centuries old culture of classical dance and music was totally wiped out, and handed over to our neighbor on a silver platter, and they've claimed it as their own.
Now a whole generation has passed and there's no one left who can connect us with our own history and tradition. It's been lost.
Even our movie industry was destroyed as a result. Now everyone watches foreign movies as a result. So the policy resulted in foreign culture invading our country with a vengeance, and no one can stop it.
