Location: Fintas, Kuwait.
Client: Kuwait University.
Cost: KD. 13.00 million.
Construction Start: August 2004
Construction End: August 2007
Project Data: 12,500 sq.m. of built space, with marine and site works.
This Kuwait University Faculty building has been designed to cater for over 300 students.
The faculty will specialize in the marine life od the Gulf, and will therefore contain all the facilities needed for the teaching and research of the subject, including its own protected marina for berthing of its own research vessels.
Although the building is part of Kuwait University, it will be situated in Fintas, 40 km away from the main University campus at Khaldiya.
The building will consist of four floors, and the whole of the structure will be divided into two wings, linked together by a central lobby area.

The Mushrif Contracting Company will construct, operate and maintain the marine center.
Marine Works:
Comprising of Reclamation work, Break water/Culvert, Accropode amour Units, Steel Piles with Cathodic protection, Dredging operations and Pre-cast Concrete Piling works.
Onshore Works:
Comprising of Main Building (17,000m2), Boat Shop and Drive Crew House (350m2), Security Gate House (50m2), External works and Culvert Including Road works.
