Protactinium November 15th, 2005, 06:11 AM I have a keen interest in historic buildings & skyscrapers throughout the Great Lake, Ohio Valley, & Midwest regions. I had the privilege of driving through downtown Fort Wayne, IN this past decade & caught a glimpse of that building. I was awe struck! I love the looks of that building and rank it as one of my top 10 favorite skyscrapers. The next time I'm in Ft. Wayne, I'm going to fall by the Lincoln Tower and really check it out! What an aesthetically & cosmetically beautiful geometric structure, an architectural historian's dream coming to life! I love it!!!

I like it because it has the style of a much larger skyscraper. It packs a lot into 20 stories.
I have noticed that in several mid-sized midwest cities, buildings of this size that would probably be simple boxes in large cities, include much more inventive design elements that the much larger buildings have in Chicago or Detroit.
