Administratively that's already the case. It's called the Dammam metropolitan area.

I heard they are assembling the project management team and they are looking to start by mid 2009.
after all its Aloula!! lots of promises too little on ground ..:ohno:

Actually, the scope changed entirely since the initial announcement of this project.. It is no longer Al Oula Towers, but just a single 300m tower..

^^ well, this is one plot of 40,000 Sqm, while the total land area of Abraj Al Oula (Al Oula Towers) is 98,000 Sqm. I'm wondering what will be built on the remaining plots.
