True, very true. Even if Qatar are world champions--there is always a "fear" against playing against Saudi. Its something that is already rooted. Each tournament presents a different situation.

How Qatar can be qualified to the next round today?
It is not an easy job at all ..... :ohno:
All following conditions must be satisfied:
1) Qatar should win Bahrain ....
2) In the other match (Saudi vs Iraq) one of them MUST win ... A draw will qualify BOTH Saudi and Iraq ...
3) Qatar should exceed The number of Total Goals (Goals For minus Goals At) of that of the Loser from the other match (Saudi-Iraq) ...
Bit Complicated ....... :(

If Qatar wins (if :ohno: ) ... they will be same points (which is 4) as the Loser of the other match (Saudi vs Iraq) ... So the one who will qualify should have greater Goal Difference (فارق الأهداف)

Did you read that article?
It does not carry any proof of your conspiracy theory. The Iraqi players said that their couch told them to play for the draw. Who is stupid enough to use that as an evidence of a conspiracy?
On the contrary, the biggest EVIDENCE that the Saudis played fair and were not involved in your so called 'deal' is that they WON and played a good game.
The Iraqi couch played for the draw because he didn't want to risk it infront of the better Saudi team. But the game didn't go his way. We scored a goal and an Iraqi player was sent out. The Iraqis tried hard to score but couldn't make it. The game was as simple as that.
The Saudi team did not need to crack a deal or pre plan the game. We have qualified to the World Cup finals 4 times, won the Asian Cup 3 times, won the Arab Cup, and won this Gulf Cup 3 times before. Why would we damage our reputation while our qualification was almost guaranteed?
Anyways, good luck for the Qataris in the future cups, although I doubt that they'll win any tournament outside of Qatar :)

I know that if they both tie, they will both enter the finals! Iraq has a recent loss with Qatar over the Asian Games final, and Saudi and Qatar you know their sports history with each other. My theory might be actually bear some truth to it. Who knows?

Yes I know our sport history with Qatar.
The last time Qatar won over Saudi was 23 years ago!
In the gulf cup, we played 17 games with Qatar. Saudi 9, and Qatar won 2 and tied in 6.
The best result for Qatar was 2-1 in 1983, and the best for Saudi was 7-0 in in 1979.
Saudi qualified to world cup 4 times, Qatar never.
Saudi won the Asian Cup 3 times, Qatar never.
Saudi won the Arab Cup 1 time, Qatar never.
Saudi won the Gulf Cup 3 times, Qatar 2 (both were in Qatar)
Now tell me, what is so special about Qatar's history in their football matches against Saudi? Or tell me what makes you think that the Saudis might consider Qatar their sport rival?

haha, no my friend, there's is not even some truth into it. The Iraqi players are pissed because their couch asked them to play a defensive formation. They said that their coach asked them to come out with a tie. He was not asking for the three points. Maybe he was fearing the Saudi team. Or maybe he didn't want to play against Emirates. I don't really care. What I know is that whatever the Iraqi players said, it does not proof anything!!
Do you really think that Saudi Arabia would really risk damaging its reputation after they almost guranteed the qualifying to the next round?
PS: It is just the Gulf Cup, not the Asian Cup or the World Cup. And it is just an almost trivial qualifying game, not the final or the semi-final.

^^ It isnt from the UAE side really. The Saudi team think that he is the unbeatable team that is why I want them to be insulted and defeated. :D
Maybe if we lose today we would have this 3ogda
No one deny that the overall performance of KSA is better than all other GCC countries but that doesnt mean they would defiantly win the matches.

The Saudi team think that he is the unbeatable team that is why I want them to be insulted and defeated. :D
Where did you get that from?
Yasser Al-Qahtani (the best Saudi player) said it before the games that the Saudi team is not the best team and is not qualified to win the cup.
Prince Sutlan Bin Fahd (top Saudi football official) said yesterday, that the Emarati team is a strong team and they have equal chances of qualifying to the final.
Finally, you can go back to my previous posts (I'm just a Saudi fan), and you'll see that I never said that the Saudi team is unbeatable in any way! On the contrary, I always expect to lose throughout this Gulf Cup :) (including today's game).
But Mr. Sarkal (top UAE football official) said that the Emarati team can win over ANY other team and the game against the Saudi team is just a regular game.
Now, use your fair judgement to find who is the arrogant from the above?
^^

The 3ogdah has been there for 15 years :bash:
Today is your precious chance to untie it ;)
