Kumanovari can perhaps tell us more about it Genci as he is from there obviosly, but up to my knowledge U are correct with the 'bland' thing. The place has lots of economic problems. If I think, I've passed by it milions of times but I don't think I've ever entered the town. I also have no clue if that's the highest building.

Kumanovo people are extremely friendly and the nicest people you will ever meet. That's my experience, they're very very friendly.

yeah, the dialect is weird...kind of hard to understand. i visit there sometimes because my aunt and uncle live there.

Kumanovo is a bigger muncipality I think but Bitola is a larger city proper definitely. However Bitola, Kumanovo, Tetovo and perhaps Prilep are all cca 100.000 population. Whatever differences there are between them in terms of population are neglectable.

I like the arhitecture on the pics, at least it looks better than those pics of Tetovo, and such mahalas...
When i was on the road to Skopje, i've seen seen that the city end was so straight, and so ovbious, like a straight line that separates it from the field, and nature. And that was a very nice, i was pleasently surprised. But i have never been inside the city, so i dont know how exactly it looks like

From your avatar I can see that you probably study college or faculty in Bulgaria. There are lots of students from Kumanovo who study there also. If I am wrong about the avatar please correct me :)

My father is from Kumanovo, and I have to admit, the city is not very appealing. It is pretty dirty and the citizens don't really take care of their city. It is really dark and gloomy, and there really is nothing to do, its very boring. Whenever I visit Macedonia, I only stay in Kumanovo for a week, 10 days at the most, and I only go because I have relatives there. After that its Bitola all the way, thats where its at :)
