Daw layo pa yata..Their programs must be accredited LEVEL III by PAASCU Philippine Accrediting Association of State Colleges and Universities. Plus more professors who obtained PhD and Masteral Degrees. One program for Nursing or Medical Related studies...These programs must have Level III Accreditation...Kung indi mameet ang LEVEL III Accreditation (like CAPSU) pwd ni iproclaim o ilobby sang Congressman sa Congress para iconvert (kaso nsa Private ang entity sang CPC daw indi guid pwd applicable lng ni sa States Colleges)..

Dire pa lang kulang sila...amo na part sang requirement sang CHED..

Ang Filamer nag open Engineering kay amo na ila kulang...May BS Bio naman sila kag Criminology...All programs of FCU are accredited LEVEL III by ACSCU (Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities. Plus accredited din ang FCU sang ACUCA (Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia)...Nagareflect guid ang mga amo ni sa Diploma kag Transcript kng maggraduate ka which is a PLUS factor mag apply work...

Once mag sige pick-up ang tourist arrivals sang Roxas City and Capiz, flights will just add-up. Remember katahum sang location sang Roxas since it is the biggest urban center in the Northern Visayas area. With schools, hotels and upcoming shopping malls, it will be drawing people nearby. Ang Romblon and Masbate are just a ferry-ride away. And pwede gid mangin new market ang Cebu for new flights or shipping routes. Nearby areas of Northern Iloilo will find Roxas as alternative than taking a long ride and face traffic at Iloilo City

SM Hypermarket just opened a branch in Jaro, Iloilo City last October 23, 2010. The 5th branch of SM investments in the city, SM Hypermarket is the first of its kind in the Visayas and Mindanao area. This branch was converted from the Makro store which SM decided to stop operating because it is not gaining much in the current Philippine market trend.
The SM Hypermarket concept was started by the Sy family back in 2001 in response to the constant need of consumers for a holistic shopping experience. The concept behind the creation of a new retail format (hypermarket retail format) is to combine the conveniences of both the supermarket and the department store in one roof (as in one roof – no walls dividing). It is primarily aimed to provide the consumer with a one-stop shop where most shopping needs will be satisfied all in one go which is also the world trend for supermarkets now.

SO HYPERMARKET sya toto..Nice!!!

This is really good for Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion. I expand nila ang annex da sa Arnaldo Blvd.

A lot of emerging of subdivisions sprouting along Arnaldo Blvd., they should take advantage on their location being the only college school there.

They should widen there campus, add more courses so that they can have a chance to achieve UNIVERSITY STATUS!

ALL OR MOSTLY THE BEST HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS PRODUCE IN CAPIZ ARE ALWAYS STUDYING IN ILOILO OR MANILA!!

Monday 7th of May 2012

ROXAS CITY CITY, Capiz, May 7 (PIA6) -- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Regional Office - 6 is facilitating the conduct of a weekly career coaching sessions in Iloilo City as part of the Labor Month celebration this May according to DOLE – 6 director Ponciano M. Ligutom during his recent visit to Capiz for the organization of the Guidance Counselors Network (GC Net) in the province.

The weekly sessions dubbed “Trabaho o Negosyo…Pili Ka!” are scheduled every Friday afternoon in May to help high school students and job seekers choose their career or become entrepreneurs.

Two business groups volunteered to lead the conduct of the activity.

“We will also have a weekly Diskwento for the workers,” Ligutom added, noting that the selling event to be led by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) will give the labor sector an alternative market of basic commodity products at low prices.

The DOLE – 6 official emphasized that the month-long celebration will end with the “Gabi ng Parangal” that will be highlighted by the holding of food festival, Awarding of Certificates of Appreciation as well as Outstanding Employees of some Employers.

“We’ll be involving some Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) beneficiaries to provide us entertainment,” Ligutom stated.

“This year's celebration has the theme “Pagtutulungan. Pagbabago. Desenteng Trabaho.” (JCM/AAL/PIA 6 Capiz)

The Hopevale Martyrs were Christian martyrs who died during the World War II in the present day Hopevale, Aglinab, Tapaz, Capiz, Philippines. The martyrs were Jeanie Clare Adams, Prof. James Howard Clovell, Charma Moore Clovell, Dorothy Antoinette Dowell, Signe Amelia Erikson, Dr. Frederick Willer-Meyer, Ruth Schatch Meyer, Dr. Francis Howard Rose, Gertrude Coombs Rose, Rev. Erle Frederich Rounds, Louise Cummings Rounds, and Erle Douglas. Despite the order that these Americans should go home because of the war, they refused to leave their mission and eventually offered their lives when they were caught by the enemies.

During the Japanese invasion of the Philippines, the eleven American Baptist missionaries refused to surrender to the Japanese troops. The martyrs took refuge in the mountains of Barrio Katipunan, Tapaz, Capiz. They hid in the forest they call "Hopevale" with the help of their Filipino friends.

On December 19, 1943, Hopevale fell into Japanese hands. The martyrs begged to free the Filipino captives and instead offered themselves as ransom. At the dawn of December 20, 1943, the missionaries asked to be allowed to pray and, an hour later, they told their Japanese captors they were ready to die. The adults were beheaded and the children were bayoneted.[1]

[edit] MemorialThere is a cross marker on top of the common grave of these martyrs in Hopevale near the place where they were bayoneted to death. A replica of this marker also stands at Central Philippine University.

[edit] LegacyThe complete Hopevale story is chronicled in The Edge of Terror, by Baptist minister Scott Walker.

A two-act musical drama titled Hopevale: Memories of Missions and Martyrs was staged in honor of the martyrs during the centennial celebrations of the founding of Central Philippine University in 2005. The musical was written by Rodolfo Cabado, an alumnus of the university.

Hopevale Church in Saginaw, Michigan takes its name from the Hopevale Martyrs.

additional article...

Pilgrimage Trip to Hopevale
Roxas City – It was an exciting early morning pilgrimage trip to Hopevale, Aglinab, Tapaz, Capiz. Traveling in trails in small groups under a lush cover of small forest, laden with cogon grasses and shrub-covered floor passing small streams of fresh water, we reach the place (Brgy. Aglinab), sweating profusely after about three-hours or so of walking and passing several mountain ranges from Katipunan.
Joining the FCC group, were officials and staff of Capiz Emmanuel Hospital (CEH) in this city led by their Administrator, Mr. Jessie H. Contreras. With them also were some doctors and nurses of the hospital who conducted a medical mission in that place.
“this maybe my last and final visit to the place, but I have stories to tell to my children how significant the trip was”
After lunch, some of the group made a pilgrimage trip atop the mountain area about one-kilometer from the Barangay proper where the cross at the Hopevale (Valley of Hope) was located. Although most of us were already tired, yet it was worth remembering visiting those who shed their blood and had a part of establishing the institutions of service (FCC & CEH) they dreamed of that made into reality today.
Before leaving the memorable place, one opined by saying, “this maybe my last and final visit to the place, but I have stories to tell to my children how significant the trip was”. It was remarkably amazing trip for everyone!

It was Sunday, August 24, 2008, a group of alumni, faculty and staff and some students of Filamer Christian College made a pilgrimage trip to Hopevale, the place where the American missionaries seek refuge and were massacred by the Japanese army during the 2nd world war in 1944.

Ro-Ann Bacal, regional director of NEDA-6, presented and discussed 11 developmental strategies involved in the program.

My second visit to Roxas City afforded a half-day visit to an off-the-beaten-track destination. The neighboring island of Olotayan – the only insular barangay of the city – harbors pristine beaches worth visiting. They’re strewn not with sand, but smooth pieces of coral that keep the waters crystal clear. Sure, it’s no powder-white Boracay; but there’s nothing as rewarding as enjoying a seaside getaway all to yourself.

Rarely visited by outsiders, there are no regular trips to Olotayan. As a matter of fact, the only way to get there is to arrange a private boat trip, or to hitch a ride on one of the bangkas (motorized canoes) heading back to the island from Banica Pier on the mainland. From the small port, the boat navigates through mangrove forests before going out to sea.

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7206/6794228990_d215a09c5c_z.jpg

According to legend, the island was formed by the olo (head) and tyan (stomach) of a wicked giant, who wreaked havoc across the land. He was struck by lightning by the anitos (native gods) when the villagers asked for help. His body parts were scattered all over the sea, forming the present-day islands found offshore from Roxas City. Other islands like Mantalinga came from mata (eyes) and talinga (ears); Tuwad are the buttocks; and Sepatos are the feet.

HOW TO GET THERE: For travel details to Roxas City, check out my DIY Walking Tour. Negotiate for a boat ride (45 minutes) to Olotayan Island at Banica Pier.

COMELEC brings registration, validation to barangays
By Jemin B. Guillermo
Tuesday 8th of May 2012

ROXAS CITY, Capiz, May 8 (PIA6) -- About 80 percent of the registered voters in the 16 towns of Capiz have already validated their voter’s registration with the Commission on Election.

Capiz Provincial Election Supervisor Wil Arceño said the election offices in the province is conducting validation and registration of voters at the barangay level.

“This move aims to reach more people so that they will have the opportunity to exercise their right to suffrage in the coming 2013 elections,” he said.

Arceño said that their offices in the different towns, including in Roxas City are also open even during Saturdays and holidays to accommodate the public in their registration or validation transactions.

He added that they are also giving a priority lane for pregnant women, persons with disability as well as senior citizens who are seeking registration of validation in their COMELEC offices.

Arceño explained that validation of voters is a process wherein voters who were registered before will be taken with their biometrics such as photo and thumbprints using the electronic process.

He said that through the validation process, “flying” voters will be eliminated and they would be able to come up with a clean Voters Master List after delisting those registered voters who are dead or transferred.

On the other hand, Arceño announced that the deadline for voter’s registration is set on October 31,2012 while the filing of certificate of candidacy for the May2013 elections will be on October 1 to 5,2012. (JCM/JBG/PIA6-Capiz)

Capiz 'TESDA Specialista' launching set on May 10
By Alex A. Lumaque
Sunday 6th of May 2012

ROXAS CITY, Capiz, May 6 (PIA) -- The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will launch the TESDA Specialista Technopreneurship Program (TSTP) in Capiz on May 10 at the Provincial Capitol here.

The TSTP is a new program of TESDA in support to the government’s stimulus program to push economic growth back on track by providing alternative job opportunities .

The program produces Samahang TESDA SPECIALISTAs composed of community-based service aggrupations (a group or an organization) of TESDA–trained and certified workers who are organized into synergistic composition of various related skills who will respond to the demand for services by households and the immediate communities.

Each aggrupation is composed of 10 Specialistas.

TESDA–Capiz Public Information Officer Julie A. Baraquia said that toolkits will be turned over to graduates of Automotive/Vehicle Maintenance Services, Computer Hardware Services/Appliance Repair Services, Computer Electronics Services, and Caregiving during the launching ceremony.

Earlier, graduates of Food and Beverage Services also received uniforms from TESDA.

TSTP is attuned to the government’s rehabilitation efforts by providing manpower support especially to the skilled, trained, and certified graduates coming from different institutions/centers under TESDA supervision in the province. (JSC/JCM/AAL-PIA 6, Capiz/ TESDA)

Yes..Plan nila mag open sang College of LAW...Irelocate didto ang iban nga colleges nga kagutok na sa Main..Basi ibalhin didto ang Engineering kag Nursing..Baw bagay bah!!!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Ano? ma open ang Filamer sang Law school? that's very good news gid! proposal pa lang ini or ma open na sa next school year?

Kung mahimo na nga duwa ang law school sa capiz, there will be lesser need to go to iloilo city for a legal education. Pati ang mga taga masbate kag romblon pwede man maka kuha law degree sa Roxas city because of proximity.

This will also create a rivalry with purisima law school since now, may ara na sila ka competensya sa capiz. Panami-nami na ini dayon sang quality kung madayon ang law school sang filamer. =)

BTW, guys, mangkot lang ko, may ara kamo pics sang mga colleges and universities sa capiz? nami guro maghimo banner about the schools in the province, this will show the lurkers of the capiz thread and potential investors who happen to pass by that indeed, there is a very good source of manpower right here in capiz. =)

This is why I think Filamer needs to put up a satellite campus in either PdP or the Health Centrum Complex (HCC for short). A filamer campus in PdP will bring foot traffic to the said properties. This in turn, will encourage more business owners to set up shop in and around the campus. Ma umpisa na anay sa mga internet station, fastfood, and then later on, mga hotels masulod na ina. amat-amat lang ah. One example of this is CPU, sang una ang area around sang campus is deserted gid, subong, self sustaining community na.

Yes, sa PdP pwede gid sila but in the Health Centrum, College of St. John is already there

Excellent ideas mga pre. Na discuss man ni namon sang una pa, sa thread 2 I think, kami kami pa lang to ni kenny and fletcher, hehe, tatlo lang kami to nag ubos sang thread na regular posters (of course, damo man visitors halin sa iban na threads). Ang na discuss to namon that time was that, it would be nice for the continued development of PdP (and now, I think, i-include ta ang HCC kay lapad man ang property nila), to donate a lot to a manila based university, preferrably, one that has not yet set its footprint in the WV region, like UST, San Beda, FEU, UE, Adamson, UA&P, etc.

The reason for this is that, kung mag donate ang PDP or HCC sang isa ka lot sa isa ka institution na may ara na branch sa WV, like St. Paul, Ateneo, La Salle or U.P., the board of trustees and administration of of these institutions will find it difficult to justify the cost of putting up another branch in the same region, it will in effect, create a redundancy.

With this in mind, I really would like to see a UST branch in Capiz, because the name of the school will surely attract students and faculty from the other WV provinces, plus those coming from Romblon and Masbate. Kung indi ang UST (kay man, sa tanan na big name schools, sila ang pinaka conservative, waay gid sila ya branch outside of metro manila, tama ka hugot sang ila na pag kapot kwarta), then perhaps, all the other universities will do. Of all the schools above mentioned, I really think that attracting FEU into Capiz could be a big possibility since it has a lot of extension campuses already, they have campuses in makati, in QC, in Silang Cavite and I think they are looking for more.

How about you guys, what do you think?

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – About 80 percent of the registered voters in the 16 towns of Capiz already validated their voter's registration with the Commission on Election.

To reach more voters, Capiz Provincial Election Supervisor Wil Arceño said the election offices in Capiz are conducting barangay-based validation and registration of voters.

"This move aims to reach more people so that they will have the opportunity to exercise their right to suffrage in the coming 2013 elections," he said.

Arceño said Comelec offices are open even during Saturdays and holidays to accommodate the public.

He added there are priority lanes for pregnant women, persons with disability and senior citizens.

Arceño explained that validation of voters is a process wherein previously registered voters will have their biometrics taken, such as photo and thumbprints, using the electronic process.

He said the validation process helps eliminate the "flying" and would help Comelec come up with a "clean" Voters Master List after delisting those registered voters who are dead or have transferred.

Arceño said deadline of voter's registration is on October 31, 2012 while the deadline of filing of certificate of candidacy for the May 2013 elections is on October 1 to 5,2012.*PIA

SAN JOSE, Antique (PIA) — The Antique Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) chairman, Governor Exequiel B. Javier has issued a directive to provincial departments and agency members of the council to fast-track implementation of infrastructure projects and training programs particularly in communities vulnerable to disasters and calamities. “Projects funded under the 2011 calamity fund should be given priority,” Javier said. Antique had a calamity fund of over R36 million in 2011, 70 percent or about R25 million of which were allotted to projects and activities geared towards disaster preparedness and mitigation, while the remaining 30 percent or R11 million went to the provincial government’s account as quick-response fund.

Housing Project

CEBU CITY, Cebu (PNA) — Forty families living in the Old Lorega San-Miguel Cemetery in Barangay Lorega, Cebu City will transfer to their new homes this week. Gawad Kalinga (GK) has finished a R13-million socialized housing project, started in late 2010, inside the cemetery, giving way to said housing project. GK took care of the construction of the three-storey building and the city government undertook site development. Project funds worth R11 million came from Cebu City (North District) Rep. Raul del Mar’s Priority Development Assistance Fund and R2 million from the Action for Nurturing Children and Environment (ANCE) led by Fr. Max Abalos.

Career Coaching

ROXAS CITY CITY, Capiz (PIA) — The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Region 6 office is conducting weekly career-coaching sessions in Iloilo City according to DOLE-6 director Ponciano M. Ligutom during his recent visit to Capiz for the organization of the Guidance Counselors Network (GC Net) in the province. Dubbed “Trabaho o Negosyo… Pili Ka!,” the sessions, with two business groups volunteering to lead in conducting the activity, take place Friday afternoons this month to help high school students and job seekers in either choosing a career or in becoming entrepreneurs.

Riverbank Bolstered

DUMAGUETE CITY, Negros Oriental (PIA) — The municipal government of Sibulan in Dumaguete City, one of the worst-hit by tropical storm "Sendong" last December 2011 is now repairing damaged infrastructure facilities, including the bolstering of the Okoy riverbank periphery worth R2 million. Okoy River is Sibulan town’s catch basin of water bodies from the hinterland village of Enrique Villanueva to mountain areas in Valencia town. Some 617 total homes were hit, 268 of which were totally destroyed and 349 partially damaged. Negros Oriental provincial government has set aside R20 million while Second District Rep. George Arnaiz gave R2 million to fortify the sides of Okoy River with the installation of boulder dikes.

Stage Play

CATBALOGAN CITY, Samar (PIA) — Health education in the form of community theater is a strategy by the health department and the Samar Provincial Health Office to improve the mindset and health-seeking behavior of rural folks here. Thus, stage plays on health and family planning will be presented in various areas. The plays premiered last Monday at the Calbayog Convention Center and will go on until June 21.

Taking on the challenge of developing more young leaders, Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI), in partnership with four higher education schools in Roxas City will be holding the very first Leadership Communities (LeadCom) here in Capiz this summer after a meeting called with partners and members of the academe in attendance at the dining area of San-Antonio Beach Resort last March 8, 2012.

The said schools were: Filamer Christian University, Capiz State University – Main Campus, College of St. John Roxas and Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion.

LeadCom is the latest youth leadership development program inspired by the impact of the annual Ayala Young Leaders Congress (AYLC), which for the past 14 years has been bringing together the country’s promising student leaders. AYLC was held last February at Tagaytay City with only two Filamerians qualified who made it to the top 81 delegates nationwide after a thorough screening process, and were the lucky ones to represent the entire Capiz province.

http://capizlead.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/eunice-300x226.png

“We founded this [LeadCom] program to inspire and nurture greater number of young servant leaders all over the country. It is just a downgraded adaptation of AYLC to the provinces which still offers the same route of experiences and training ground to the aspiring young leaders” said AFI Development Associate Personnel, Crystal Eunice Dela Cruz.

According to her, who also serves as LeadCom Visayas Local Area Coordinator, the program also aims to develop the capacity of colleges and universities to nurture the leadership skills of their students and the youth in their localities.

The meeting was actively participated by a core group of school representatives from the said partner colleges and universities in the province, who will build synergy and cooperation among their schools and other local partners as well. Under AFI’s guidance, the partner schools have jointly organize a three-day student leadership camp for 100 college students here in Capiz.

LeadCom Capiz will take place on May 8-11, 2012 to be hosted by FCU. Prior to this, the facilitators’ training will be held first on the fourth week of April at CPC.

The program’s goal over a 12-month period is to form a community and network among these schools to champion youth leadership development and to equip them with the skills and competencies to develop servant leaders on a regular and sustained basis.

What makes the program unique is that LeadCom partner schools are then asked to implement a LeadCom-inspired leadership program within their walls, thus multiplying its impact and reach.

LeadCom was piloted in two areas – Catanduanes and Oriental Mindoro. After having taken a keen interest in the Philippines and developing young Filipino leaders, Active Aid Partnerships’ support of the program will make it possible to bring LeadCom to 12 areas in the country over the next two years.

Aside from Capiz, LeadCom will be brought to six areas this 2012 which include Benguet, Isabela, Samar, Misamis Oriental, and Davao.

Army upgrades Capiz hospital
By Alex A. Lumaque
Wednesday 9th of May 2012

ROXAS CITY, Capiz, May 9 (PIA) -- The Third Infantry Division (3ID) of the Philippine Army has upgraded its Camp Peralta Station Hospital (CPSH) at Camp Macario Peralta in Jamindan, Capiz into a Level II hospital to expand the health services for military personnel and their dependents.

“Upon the arrival of the requested equipment and facilities from the national headquarters we can perform surgical operation,” said CPSH Commanding Officer Col. Nelson Dansel.

Among the requested facilities for the newly-rehabilitated hospital building are hospital beds, operating room table and lights, anesthesia machine and generator, among others.

A blessing for the newly rehabilitated hospital was conducted last May 1 in time for the 38th anniversary of the Division.

The activity was graced by Army chief Emmanuel Bautista, 3ID commanding general Jose Z. Mabanta, Jr. and Jamindan town officials led by Mayor Ethel R. Jinon.

Dansel, a physician, added that CPSH will network with other civilian doctors in the region to augment medical personnel of the Division for the operation of the 25-bed capacity hospital.

CPSH only rendered consultation and catered to simple medical health needs of the patients before the level-up was put in place. (JSC/AAL-PIA6 Capiz)

Ano? ma open ang Filamer sang Law school? that's very good news gid! proposal pa lang ini or ma open na sa next school year?

Nakaka-inspire ang mga taong ito...

Manuel Acuña Roxas, first President of the independent Republic of the Philippines. Roxas obtained his law degree, graduated class valedictorian, and subsequently topped the first bar examinations with a grade of 92%, becoming the first ever bar topnotcher of the Philippines.

Josefa Abiertas (b.1894-d.1922), was the first Filipino lady lawyer and bar topnotcher, an outstanding moral crusader and social reformer- A christian who vibrantly lived her faith. She was also the first ever-filipino lawyer and one of the first graduates of the Baptist home School which is now Filamer Christian College.

MANILA, Philippines - UAAP four-peat champion Ateneo trounced University of San Agustin, 77-62, to arrange a showdown with West Negros University for the Philippine Sports Commission-University Games crown in Roxas City last Friday.

The Ateneo Blue Eagles meet Visayas powerhouse team West Negros University (WNU) Mustangs in the championship before an expected full-house crowd at the Capiz Gym inside the Villareal Stadium, the biggest sports complex in Western Visayas.

It will be the disciplined style of basketball by the Blue Eagles against the free-wheeling and power-playing game by the Mustangs after the two teams disposed of their respective opponents in the semifinal games.

Ateneo took a 44-26 halftime lead in route a 77-62 win over University of San Agustin (USA) to earn the finals’ slot.

The Mustangs broke out of a close game against St. Francis College of Assisi (SFAC) only in the last five minutes of the game for a 66-55 victory and the other slot in the championship of the competition supported by Sandugo Sandals and Gatorade and the LGU’s of Capiz and Roxas City.

“We need to make adjustments in our game, they are taller than us,” said WNU head coach Troy Sarabia.

The Mustangs last won their UniGames title in 2005 while the Blue Eagles finished fourth last year in Dumaguete.

In women’s basketball, defending champion Adamson U is expected to collect its fifth UniGames crown when it clashes with College of St. Benilde.

UP-Diliman took third place by default over St. Louis University (SLU) which had to catch the ship back home Friday morning.

University of the East dominated both the men’s and women’s badminton competitions. UE defeated USLS 21-12, 21-6, 18-21, 21-15, 21-12, to take the men’s crown while in the distaff side, UE came from behind to score a 13-21, 16-21, 21-11, 21-18, 21-8, 20-22, 21-15 win.

Alesa Dolino booted in the winning goal in the first 10-minute extension to give Far Eastern U, the 2010 UAAP women’s champion, a 2-1 victory over University of Santo Tomas in women’s football.

La Salle plays University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos for the men’s football crown at the Villareal Stadium.

Earlier, DLSU blanked University of St. La Salle, 3-0, while UNO-R edged out UP-Diliman, 2-1.

It will be an all-UAAP finale in men’s volleyball as defending champion FEU stakes its crown against UST.

In the distaff side Adamson U faces USLS for the crown. FEU swept USLS in the men’s semifinals, 25-20, 25-18, 25-18, while UST was stretched to five sets by National University before prevailing, 26-24, 25-19, 17-25, 20-25, 15-8.

National University took its first title at the competition, winning the men’s lawn tennis event over De La Salle University while DLSU retained its women’s division crown beating UST.
