Im not much into temples & stuff, but we were suppose to go to the Grand Palace, but the dickhead of a Taxi driver we had insisted we go to some stupid massage parlour, at 8:30am! & we wanted to go to China town, so the ass drops us of in the middle of no where, & tells us to walk down the road to China town, so we spent 3 hours walking around china town looking for the markets, when we could have been gone to the Grand Palace!

Then in the afternoon we had to shoot to MBK, so we thought we'd do Grand Palace on our last 2 days when we return from KL, but then we had to do ALOT of last minute shopping of stuff we couldnt get in KL, such iPods... which we were told were OUTDATED in KL! the new in thing is MP4 player!

just joking, I was in KL for New Years, those decorations were up when I was in BKK, there wasnt any partys in that area on New Years I heard, because of the bombings.

yea, the bombing was before the celebration began, so there was no party in BKK :ohno:

with your orbing/teleporting abilities, it guess you counted down to 2007 in KLCC and orbed to Bukit Bintang to join the revellers?? that's how you managed to get there so quickly right?:lol:

I so badly wanted to go to Genting Highlands, but time was a factor, maybe next time, Im deff going back to these places, coz there is tons of stuff I didnt do & see.

I got like a million more shots of the fireworks & petronas, that is the most beautiful building I have ever seen. When I first saw it, up close, it was in the eveing & all the lights were on, I stood there for 5-10 minutes just staring at it.

LOL, if i were able to turn back time I would have love to be at the count down at both places, I walked from KLCC to Bhukit, passed ALOT of other street party's & nightclubs, so the walk was fun.

I'd love to be expatted to KL - friendly, organised, english speaking and cheap as. Great place to chill out for a couple of years - chicks shop, guys drink and play golf across SE Asia.

Bangkok is awesome, but just way to big, dirty, busy and chaotic. Life in London feels quite relaxed in comparison!

^^Very true, I actulay want to go work for a few years in KL, climate is simialr to that of Durbs, but it can get hotter & the humidity is abit more as well. Bu t overall I was very impressed by it, the mixtures of cultures & how they all get along. & most importantly the safety, walk around any part of town @ any time of the evening its safe.

My well its only for like 2 days, I aint going there for the whole holiday, plus we still planning, might not even go there! My mate is getting married in UK, so might do Europe instead.

If we do go States, its Cancun, Miami, NY, Vegas, LA, Washington & Frisco
