Fort Wayne is a small city in Indiana with about 200,000 people. I live about 2 hours away from it in the mishawaka/ south bend area. It has some awesome buildings, take a look:

OK, but lacks density due to having too many carparks. Not bad for a city its size though.

Kind of neat for a city of its small size. 7/10

What's the building with the dome? Looks like a church.

I grew up in Northwest Ohio, just 10 minutes from the Indiana line. As a young child, Fort Wayne was *the* big city for me (along with Toledo). I loved the skyline as a kid, haha. It's not really impressive anymore after having visited cities like NYC, Philly, Chicago, and Vancouver, but it does hold some sentimental value for me. Here are a few more pictures:

Not much quantity, but stellar quality, especially in the form of Lincoln Tower. I give the skyline a 7.

I haven't seen any density, yet...In some reasons, I'd like to visit...Nothing that special though. :(

I give it a 4/10 because of it's low population...

I've seen many a skyline in my day, but this one's pretty good. Some nice old buildings and a historic downtown area.
I give it a 6/10. :okay:

Some fairly good midrises; nothing really tall though, and the cluster needs bulking out to give it more cohesion.

Fort Wayne has a real treasure in the Lincoln Building, and it appears to have a nice downtown overall, what with that historic courthouse and a scattering of other noteworthy historic buildings. However, I've heard that downtown Fort Wayne is unhealthy, which is a shame. For the buildings alone though, 7.

i am impressed with the hieght of the buildings for a city of that size. but several buildings don't look too pretty, and i think a few smaller buildings to bridge the tall skyscrapers with the surrounding area would be nice as well.

Downtown is clean and fairly attractive, albeit mostly a 9-to-5 downtown with too much surface parking and few amenities to attract people outside business hours.

A few decent eating places have opened up, though, and the Harrison Square (http://www.cityoffortwayne.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1047&Itemid=634) development, incorporating a ballpark, hotel and mixed-use condo & retail space, should help with density and street life.

Visit my web site (http://www.robertpence.com/), if you like. There are quite a few photos of Fort Wayne there, and I have a lot more to post as I find time.
