Funny how the Novotel sign looks to be exactly on top of Central on your pic ^ ^

I see, I feel like investing on a HD cam, coz if a picture speaks a thousand words, a video speaks a million or billion words. Watching car zooming past with the skyline as the backdrop is a superb setting, I want to try it one day but don't have a quality video cam, just my humble N93 :(

Should be HDB....seems like HDB blocks and other government buildings get repainted every few years, and someone mentioned in another thread that this might even be a requirement for private owners

But they are unique what.. The most colorful block in Singapore!

Yes they are... the condos are Azure, which is still under construction and further right is The Berth, already TOP... plus bungalows...

Have you noticed the change in the glass facade at the top floor of OCBC bank building?

Whoa yeah,will it be applied to the whole building or?

Hope not! The original design is a classic.

But whats great is that they've renovated the open plaza, and created a nice water feature and pond around the sculpture, with 'mist'.

Somehow it still has the '50s charm'. Sadly not for long

It is already wrapped up and hidden from view. Its neighbour the Afro-Asia Building is also in danger of being redeveloped.

Beginning to wear off already, people should quickly clear these kind of buildings and build new ones!

Are there any renderings of what will come up?

Havent seen any renderings yet but read the office building will be under 20-storeys.

Believe so cos thats where the canal is.

In future, the area will be sprouting with 40-storey flats.

i just made a trip to Singapore last weekend! It's really nice and clean. One of the best cities in Asia to live and work.
