Would it be possible to tie similar threads together?

For instance:
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=431670
and
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=432696

are so similar, it would be good if they were somehow linked or joined. Perhaps if someone posts on one thread, the other would follow it up to the top of the forum page. Just a suggestion :)
