The Mediterranean ports of Ceuta and Melilla are the last vestiges of Spanish rule in northern Morocco, which ended in 1956.

They have been European territories for more than 500 years, and Madrid insists it will not relinquish control of either.

Together they occupy 32 square kilometres, and are home to about 120,000 mainly Spanish residents.

With its rebuilt 15th century cathedral, shipyards and fish processing plant Sebta is viewed by Spain as the more strategically valuable of the two.

In one of the pics you can see a church in a square, where the surounding buildings look typically Portuguese. The other one is a pic that the forumer Amaro already pointed out that wasn't Ceuta, where you can see a bus and a typical Portuguese building behind it.

I don't want to sound picky, I really like the pics you guys are posting, I just wanted to be precise.

Yeah, I was thinking if that could be the case, cos the Portuguese occupied it for about two centuries... but I don't know, it really looks soooo Portuguese! I don't have much time now, but I'll quote the pics when I have more time, I promise.

As for Bab Sebta, I just looked it up online and apparently it's located in the border between Spain and Morocco, so maybe it's in the Moroccan side of the border and that's why the banners are in Arabic and French.

En parlant d'une logique.

Logique 1.

This is because the Ceuta hospitals are fantastic or at least there are hospitals, so moroccans close to the city prefer use the fantastic spanish sanitary system and lot's of babys born there, of course they're sure no baby will die because of anything

No: the rogue Guardia civil will not let them enter. The reason is probably that Sebta has as an important population of immigrants with higher fecondity rate.
