Welcome to Washington. Those are some great pictures! Where in Washington are you living?
I find it funny how one of DC's ugliest buildings is considered a work of art (the Hoover FBI Building in your 27th picture).

im staying in shaw. It looks like its going through some major changes around the Howard University area. there are several nice mid-rises going up on 14th, Florida, and 7th.
