Wow, it must have taken you a long time to find those pictures! All the other pics I've seen of this tower have been small crappy ones, but these ones are great!

This is a nice tower. Usually I don't like the look of revolving restaurants on top of skyscrapers (because they are not integrated into the design well... they usually look like last minute afterthoughts), but in this case it looks more like a crown than anything else. The night lighting scheme is excellent, and the tower itself is very nice. I like the mix of rounded and sharp angles. 8.5/10

It looks awkward and I dont like the boxy angles. The night lighting does help to soften it some though.

It looks like a UFO landed on top....which for some strange reason, actually works on that tower. I really like it. 9

i've been inside this building many times.... it's pretty nice. at night it looks so pretty it's hard not to like it. it is the central focus of Nanjing for sure. inside it is a nightmare..... escalators only go up one floor, then you have to walk around tonnes of shops on top of each other to find where the next escalator is.

Great tower

Almost another case of 'too much going on' but the fairly modest facade-cladding and decent dimensioning/composition keep it on the right side of kitsch.

7.5/10 - Good contrast between the glass and metal of a facade that really dances with the light. The curves and straight lines flow together well and make the shape lively and streamlined without slipping over into chaotic; they also provide a lot of chance for light and shadow to do their thing. The set backs, especially the biggest one between base and tower, help the height. It looks nice at night, too.

THe worst problem is that revolving what-ever on the roof, which doesn't seem to flow from the tower - it's facade isn't even the same color, and it's circular shape doesn't match the tower's much gentler oval/elliptical curves. And it's flatness blocks the building's attempt to reach the sky as effectively as if it were a plain flat roof - it sorely needs a spire or something

i like how the setbacks make the building look nice from practically every angle. the revolving restaurant doesn't fit in with the rest of the building, but without it the building would look way duller.

8.5, nanjing need something more exciting than this for its tallest building though.

It's odd. Don't care for the top much.

the worst part must be the top. it's too fat on the side. maybe a symetrical design will be better. not a fan of the lighting too.

However, i like the facade and material of the building;)

Elegant massing and good, if not exceptional cladding. It is a rather strange mix of post-modern, art-deco and international styles. The dotted night lighting is beautiful, however I'm mitigated about the revolving restaurant at the top. Why red???
