Designed by Pritzker Prize winning Kevin Roche, the forty-one-storey grey granite structure is crowned by a distinctive illuminated pyramid. With a basic floor-plate of about 18,000 square feet, the building offers an optimal concentration and interaction of key functions. All offices have 360 degree views of the Singapore skyline and surrounding oceans. Visitors are also welcomed by an impressive five storey installation, "Rising" by American artist Frank Stella.

I don't like the top, it looks like some sort of screen made from closely spaced tubes, like Atlanta's BOA. I'd prefer a glass top.

il fenomeno, the roof is built to allow the lighted beacon to show through at night, hence its wierd finish. Its more functional then architectural. ;)

That pyramid top doesn't go with the rest of the building at all, and it's not be any stretch of the imagination graceful, especially since it's sawed off. It might have looked better had it been a ziggarut.

The facade is simply dull, and the windows look like holes in a cheese grater The only interesting detail is those little round sections at the top, and even those don't match...

The base has the same problem, both in shape and material; the glass looks like those bricks you put in bathroom windows...It might have fit a bit better if the columns had been square, with some veritical indentations.

All in all, a mishmash with little harmony between the poorly-matched and unimpressive parts...

I like the 'pillars' just below the pyramid top, and they are especially impressive at night.

The rest of the facade is quite bland, though, and needs more detail.

I can see this one while typing... Hmm... About 10km away though so it's small :-p
But, heh, that's not really one of my favourite scrappers. The pyramidal top is nice, especially at night, but that's about it. It has the evil-robot look to it. Proportions and features are a bit of a mess and the cladding is just boring.
