PG County is my hero. They're championing Maryland's economic development and making the greatest strides in urbanizing the inter-city region (between DC and Baltimore).

Hey, not bad! A lot of surface parking for my liking, but that can be remedied in the future. 1 million square feet of office though...that's great!

Is that thing really supposed to begin construction this year?

I believe so, Petrie Ross Ventures, Greenberg Gibbons Commercial and Hovnanian Land Investment Group has a pretty good track record. They have already started Annapolis Towne Centre at Parole.

Prince George's County gov has already touted this project on their website and TV advertising plus the fact that the developer already has 2 of the 3 anchors lined up (Wegmans and Costco) is a good sign.

I'm always cautiously optimistic about these projects though, some never fail to cut back on the office component and replace it with what we don't really need (residential). When the office components break ground then I will cheer.
