it was beautifull and clean :(

and then sadly our responisbles went and knocked down what used to be the theatre municipal - al masrah al baladi - and also what used to be the biggest swimming pool in the world, I remember both of them and the thought of them make me feel totally sad, whereas in the developped world historical sites like them are a no touch at whatever costs, I feel they took a part of my childhood specially the swimming pool that had been cruely removed.

European youths defiantly brandish French national flags in front of a cafe destroyed by a terrorist bomb, as riots continue in Casablanca. On July 17th, 40 persons were reported dead as the result of race riots and violence. Gangs of Moroccans and Europeans have clashed, and the French foreign legionnaires and Senegalese riflemen are in the city to enforce martial law.

European youths defiantly brandish French national flags in front of a cafe destroyed by a terrorist bomb, as riots continue in Casablanca. On July 17th, 40 persons were reported dead as the result of race riots and violence. Hello, these rioters were they against independence and was that in the years preceding independence of Morocco?
It would be good if images of historical events would have some explanation about the time and the context.

It was in 1940 , 16 years before Morocco's independance

and the rioters are French
