Forza Juve.

what the hell are you talking about??? the stadium is almost finished, maybe they will put the big logo during the ceremony, and regarding the roof they have changed the materials, not all in etfe but in pvc...so it was never projected in a roof of glass...imagine yourself in a hot sunny day below a roof in glass...it's insane

The glass roof certainly never came from any of our stadium images. Yes their have been some changes made along the way and we can all have our opinions about those and why changes were made. I'm proud that we have been the first in Italy to have our own stadium despite my own personal feelings about some of the changes made,
Forza Juve.
Curva Nord September 6th, 2011, 11:50 AM -2
Anyway, the name is "Juventus Stadium", NOT "Juventus Arena"
Please a member of the staff could change the title of thread? Thank you!

Curva Nord September 6th, 2011, 06:09 PM Everything is ready for 'Juventus Stadium'
Rehearsals for the opening of the new plant, scheduled for Thursday evening. A parade of stars, trophies, a countdown of twenty-nine seconds (as badges under the leadership of black and white), and even self-irony with 420 performers with ... hump. Will be a great show.
The bleachers of the new Juventus stadium
TURIN - Down the curtain. It 's all ready for the inauguration of the "stadium that changes football," the new temple of Juventus fans. On the doormat says "welcome home". The sign is being mounted: Juventus Stadium.
"We are ready to reconfigure the system with the name of the sponsor," says commercial director Francis Calvo. The brand of the owner of "naming rights" will be on display in the yards tricolor. The visual impact is that of a basin, with terraces overlooking the field. The first row is only 7.5 meters from the green rectangle, the benches are embedded in the first link in the stands. This evening there is a dress rehearsal for the opening event on Thursday (from 19.45). "It will be an exciting show, an epochal event to christen a stadium that will revolutionize the show-kick in Italy", promises a number of K-events Marco Balich, one of the leading designers and manufacturers of events in the world. The evening, conducted by Cristina Chiabotto and Linus, are expected to sport the highest office and institutional Italian Roberto Maroni, Gianni Petrucci, Giancarlo Abete, the elite of national football, Juventus many old glories, managers, celebrities. After the show, futuristic, to 21.30, the celebration of the glorious past black and white, with a friendly against Notts County (the third British series), the second oldest club in the world (after the Sheffield), from which Juve has inherited the color black and white mesh. It will be a dress rehearsal for the team and stadium, before the official debut on Sunday (at 12.30) in the league against Parma.
BALICH "communicate passion" - "We move, convey passion," provides the deus ex machina of the opening event Marco Balich. Review, to believe, the national anthem sung by the girl at the opening ceremony of the 2006 Turin Games, or the show floating on the river Po, to launch the new Fiat 500 in 2007. The spectacular baptism of Juventus Stadium last about an hour, will celebrate the past and present of the club and throw a glimpse of the future. Three key points: tradition, innovation and style. Two actors on stage: Juventus and its fans. "And 'Agnelli was the president himself - concluded Balich - to tell us how the public should feel at home here: Juventus supporters will remain open mouth."
GOBBI, PARADE OF STARS AND MAXI-TROPHIES - Everything begins with a countdown, the last 29 seconds will be scanned by the image of the 29 championships (yes, 29) won by Juventus. Two highlights: the screening of a movie that "will raise the public's reaction" and "spectacularly choreographed final, used only to Beijing Games 2008 and the range of the Super Bowl," made by hundreds of volunteers who were dressed in LEDs , will make up the Italian flag. To direct the dances, the English choreographer of international renown Bryn Walters. The show includes great choreography by mass (a, self-deprecating, with 420 performers with ... hump!), The catwalk star of Juventus (many former and two flags: Boniperti and Del Piero), the parade of trophies (of extra dimensions -large, driven in the field selected by fans online), when a protocol, with the ritual cutting of the tricolor ribbon (in honor of President Agnelli shears and the mayor of Turin Fassino, known Juventus fan) and a poignant passage, in memory of Heysel victims (relatives have been invited to the opening ceremony).
ON TELEVISION - "We have invested more than $ 2 million for what will be a great show - announced Francesco Calvo, commercial director of Juventus -. The television production will be higher than that of a Champions League final." Television coverage will be very massive: live on Sky Sports 1, Sky Calcio 1, Sky Channel and Juventus Go (from 19), in HD, and from 21 to Sky (channel 126 of Sky platform and 26 of the Digital Terrestrial free). Opening ceremony streamed over Juventus. com and Youtube. com / Juventus, from 22.
A BASIN ... OF REVENUE - "The new facility will provide three times the revenues of the old one and will lead Juventus to the highest standards of quality and economy of Europe." He says Francesco Calvo, new commercial director of Juventus: "With this plant we will try to correct an anomaly all Italian. The revenues from the stadium because, in our country, representing about 13% of company revenues, compared to 27% of England or Germany. As for Juventus, last year we grossed 11.5 million stadium. For the season around the corner, while keeping ticket prices unchanged, we expect to reach 32 million, thanks to increased capacity, the naming rights and additional services, such as the Juventus Club Premium ".
SECURITY, HOSPITALITY, TOURS AND MUSEUM - Goodbye curves, the basin has a rectangular shape of the Juventus Stadium: "Who will sit in the North Stand, will be the same distance from the field, just 7.5 meters, compared to those who will occupy seats in the West Stand , "says the director of the stadium Francis Gianello. One of the flagships of the new Juventus home is security: "It 'was an innovative project developed systems for monitoring and broadcasting - Gianello continues - that reflects the latest standards and requirements of national and international regulations . Another source of pride and hospitality: dining, hospitality areas ready to provide 4 thousand meals on game days. " In October, guided tours will start and open the shopping center adjacent to the facility, Area 12. In spring, the Museum will be opened for Juventus, and in May the plant Stadium will host the Business Summit, the annual meeting of the expert management of stadiums. Juventus Stadium is already the school.
THE NEW STADIUM IN FIGURES - Investments for 105 million for 41,000 seats: they are the main figures of the new stadium.
Here are all the others:
- 7.5 meters between the first row from the field of play;
- 49 meters between the last row of the stands and the field;

"Cables Stadium"
Gobbo September 7th, 2011, 12:37 PM I like the stadium very much, it just looks SO great and very compact...playing there will be just like playing with 12 players for Juventus ;)
BUT there are too many cables...are al those cables really necessary? I can hardly remember any other stadium with SO many cables...wasnīt it possible to find other solutions?
summertimes September 7th, 2011, 12:42 PM BUT there are too many cables...are al those cables really necessary? I can hardly remember any other stadium with SO many cables...wasnīt it possible to find other solutions?
most cables apart from those famous 4 in the corners are for the ceremony i believe
mrk189 September 7th, 2011, 12:42 PM Why are the pitch lines so faded? Or haven't they been painted on properly yet?
Brigate Rossonere September 7th, 2011, 01:36 PM Why are the pitch lines so faded? Or haven't they been painted on properly yet?
There are no lines? Only the oil that is sprayed on the pitch to give it a darker haze so that the person that does the lines knows where they go.
I know from experience ;)
Fab87 September 7th, 2011, 01:38 PM Pitch lines get re painted before every match, of course they will be repainted! And the cables, apart from the ones in the corners, are temporary and part of the ceremony of tomorrow, which will be quite spectacular!
juve7 September 7th, 2011, 02:31 PM so awesome... it will be fitting to finally move this thread to 'completed stadiums' after the inauguration... :)
Forza Juve!!!

Meno male!
I am happy for that, I just feared that those cables were not only temporary and in that case I would have found it a little bad with all those cables ;)

I prefer this also.
I've just returned from Venice. Today! Couldnt manage to make time to travel to Turin. What a shame...
Mrs.Sissy September 8th, 2011, 04:55 PM Am i the only one who prefers Stadio Juventus?
BTW is the cap. 41,254 still correct?
I prefer it because it's completely italian but let's wait some of us saw on official site or forums juventus stadium but we don't know what will happen later tonight.
Some of us call it new delle alpi or want it to stay delle alpi because of the 2 big poles that resemble old delle alpi, alps & the crown.
Some of us juventus arena but as i said let's wait tonight probably a sponsor name will come out & we'll see if it will be juventus stadio, stadio juventus, juventus arena, arena juventus,nuovo/new delle alpi or stadio delle alpi.
Change the first pictures posted because rendering isn't the latest & official one.Someone should post for the admins the latest official rendering with the facade entering etc.
Capacity is right i suppose 41,000 & some few others but i hope in future it gets at least 50k-55k because for a team of this calibre would be still not impressive but atleast it would have a ressemblance & strong important influence of a structered stadium/arena with 55k.
Now it depends on us juve fans especially from home turin & team results.

I agree with new Delle Alpi as sissy says. Ive always wanted it to keep the name, but I dont think it will.
Curva Nord September 8th, 2011, 06:19 PM fG_Irz5TagI
This was the last match played at the old Delle Alpi in may 2006, with the team which won its last italian title, and after 2 months was the base (Cannavaro, Zambrotta, Buffon, Del Piero, Camoranesi, etc.) of Italy champion of the world...
We hope from today to watch the same crowd, the same unbelievable emotions and the same passion in the new wonderful stadium.
Forza Juve!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!!
Amazing!!!
Don't tell me im a little girlie boys but i love those effects in white like shadows illuminations with facade exterior & black linings.
Truly Juventus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now stairs painted gold & juve emblem on top roof plus removing those 4 cornered cables(other than those 4 cornered cables others are for tonight inaguaration only),removing those last few barriers,Bench more professional look like old trafford or even our stadium commentators bench style & final but not least 55k+ capacity.
Lets Do It Juve Fans !! we have occasion let's dont miss it or ruin it please........

I prefer 60-65k and not 50-55k. Guys its Juve :)
I agree but this fan base reason has been going all our history especially from 80s & up it's like our damnation.
But i'm sure that if we from turin & maybe others from outside come regurarly definetely it will be no problem reaching 55k-60k.
The other problem is for all of us i mean no club in italy have more than 60k average attendence. So theres even prices, locations & many other reasons to be solved for maybe find again our lost passion & filling stadiums not only with the current champions or other big games.

I noticed there are more empty seats during this second half. But there were still some in the first half, in the stand opposite to the cameras (especially at mid-height) and in one corner.
I was wondering if those were really empty seats.

Don't they have a match this weekend?
Fab87 September 9th, 2011, 12:05 AM Yes, they're playing in 60 hours, at 12pm on sunday. This match was just a tribute to our history, but the big event today was the ceremony, that's why there was not a big interest in the game itself, also considering that many fans drove hours to come to stadium tonight and they probably dont' want to be back home at 4am.
michał_ September 9th, 2011, 12:08 AM Wasn't it supposed to be tonight?
Yesterday Serie A published names of stadiums for the season and the declared name for Juve is still Juventus Stadium. So we'll probably wait for any naming rights deal.

Well, years of great Calcio traditions ;)
But seriously - as much as I'm not a fan of this stadium, I really enjoyed the ceremony. It wasn't perfect by no means (in China those colourfully shining people would have been executed for lack of coordination and precision :P), it was something I would love my club to do. Or in fact any club - this was simply beautifully done and one could see that tradition was all over it, that it was done for the community around the club, not just a huge kaboom like we've seen in a few venues I wouldn' want to mention...

Gobbo September 9th, 2011, 02:53 AM excuse me but juve seems to have a team of seria B or is it me that i don't see fluoriclasse players?
Well, Juve is not what it used to be...
BUT some of their best players didnīt play tonight. Krasic and Vucinic were not on the field, and others like Pirlo, Chiellini, Quagliarella only played a few minutes. And you also have to consider, that Juve has a very important game sunday at lunch time against Parma, so they only played at 70% tonight ;)
It would have been better it they had played this game yesterday (wednesday), so they would have had 24 hours more to prepare the Parma-game on sunday. And we would probably have seen a better performance in this match. But probably they HAD to play tonight, because the national teams all played on tuesday, so wednesday was a little to close to the national teams matches....
If we look at Juventus formation for this season, I donīt think it looks so bad - for me itīs a team that is not so strong as Milan and Inter, but that can compete with teams like Roma and Napoli:
BUFFON
LICHTSTEINER
BONUCCI (or Barzagli)
CHIELLINI
DE CEGLIE
KRASIC
VIDAL (or Marchisio)
PIRLO
ELIA (or Estigarribia or Giaccherini)
MATRI (or Quagliarella)
VUCINIC (or Del Piero)
- the midfield looks very strong with two very fast wings, Krasic and Elia, and a very tecnical center-midfield with Vidal and Pirlo. The attack isnīt bad either with Matri, a very dangerous young man who arrived from Cagliari last year, and the very fast and tecnically very good player Vucinic (arrived from Roma). The only weak point of this team is, in my opinion, the defence. De Ceglie is a quite modest left back and Bonucci-Chiellini didnīt impress last year.....
But still a team that for me will finish in top 4-5 this season, but it still neads something more to fight for the Championship ;)

Skycrap September 9th, 2011, 08:57 AM Sorry, but I don't like it. From the inside it's ok, but from the outside it is just not a football stadium. It's to clinical! To modern! It doesn't give me the feeling of going to a football match, more like a modern museum or something.
For me a footballstadium still must stand between houses, buildings etc. Not on a artificial hill or something like that.

It's built where the old "Delle Alpi" was!
The pitch is under the terrain level as was for "Delle Alpi"!
In Italy a few people go to the stadium using public transports so parking is really important. For this reason many stadiums in Italy are in the uptowns.
I really like this new stadium. After being a supporter of my local team (Pro Patria from Busto Arsizio, it plays in Italian League Two) I am a Juventus supporter and I'm proud for this new structure.
I hope that many other Italian teams will follow this example with the restyling of their own stadium. But the fact is that the only two private stadiums in Italy are in Turin (Juventus Stadium) and in Reggio Emilia ("Giglio", the home ground of Reggiana, League One). All other stadiums are public properties.

I agree completely. post 2006 we are where we ought to be. Another decent central defender would have been nice. Injury permitting I hope that both Marchisio and Chiellini are allowed to play in their best positions this year. We have a good chance to get into C.L. Hope the stadium does not intimidate our own players. They should embrace it. Last night's ceremony was great. Shows that we still have class and are not afraid to show it.

Gobbo September 9th, 2011, 04:05 PM Such a great stadium for such a fallen team.
True...
But with the new stadium the club should earn a lot of extra money, because they own the stadium themselves, and the extra money should bring them in a better position on the transfer marked in the future....so the new great stadium is one of the things that should help Juve gain back their position from the past ;)
Besides, Juve is a lot stronger this year than last year, having bought very good players like Pirlo, Vidal, Vucinic, Elia...Juve will certainly be in top 4-5 this year. But still we will have to wait 1-2 years more to compete with Milan and Inter, I am afraid....but letīs see...

Fabri88 September 9th, 2011, 04:43 PM I can't wait to move to Turin to visit it! Turin is an underrated city in Italy but it is full of venues to visit: Mole Antonelliana, Egyptian Museum (the best in the world after Cairo's one), Superga, Automobile Museum, the historic centre, the new Olympic Stadium and now...the mighty Juventus Arena.
It is a dream for Juventus, for all us "Juventini" but overall is a dream for Italy: this is the first Italian only-football stadium built with modern conception.
A stadium like Emirates Stadium, Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford, AufSchalke Arena, Allianz Arena etc...

Fab87 September 9th, 2011, 05:52 PM We don't like the cables, and besides there still are some problems of organization, according to the forumers that were there yesterday, like bars offering only drinks after a certain time and some toilets that did not flush. Some areas still have too many concrete walls. And probably advertising lcd panels on the field could be moved a few steps closer to the stands, gaining a better view of the field for the first row and a better look for the stands from television.
It is not a bad thing, but stands are very very steep. On the stairs you get a vertigo feeling, a little bit, but i really like the fact they didn't put any handrails like they did in TTA, it looks much more elegant like this.
Positive remarks instead concerning the seats, which seem to be very resistent and yet comfortable, with enough space between each other.
and let me say: no nets behind the goals and yet stands super close to the goals= win!

Many things are not satisfying but years after stadiums were built all made some few to big changes or restructering.Let's remember that juventus is taking part in a some what of a test in terms of italian legislation like not invading pitch, security etc & probably with return in champions league capacity will be at least 50k-55k so its a test directed to us fans too.
That shirt is from official store but it's not the official playing shirt it's a casual shirt i like it though woul be nice wearing it as second or third gear :)There are many of them like the ultra shirts, casual, classic, old playing shirts incuding other acessories like scarfs, shoes, hats, jeans etc.The thing is we should wear white & black accessories & clothes otherwise it will not work so thats one point every fan base should work on not only ultras but rest of stadium.

You coud agree or disagree but here is my opinion.
capacity to 55k-60k.(it's up to us fans no excuses)
stairs & corridors painted golden colour.
corner cables removed.(heavier capacity more stabilised stadium i guess)
seats are better in second tier.(like that would be more visually appealing)
like the stars but infront of entrances theres should be written juventus f.c 1987 with seats formations because you have juventus & italian seats flagged on sides with the 2 seated stars but our official club name & official foundation we don't have it engraved.
juventus emblem on top of roof(everyone should have it especially us that contrasted with white & black are deadly & amazing).
led panels with sponsors near pitch should be moved back till fans or the concrete between the fans painted black because it's really ugly like it's current status.
Pitch with unique texture i mean yesterday it seemed old & rusty even the players found it sort of heavy & they missed many passes & shot very bad not normal for me.(maybe because it's first game)
the few barriers remaining have to be removed like english ones with small railing left just not to fall down.
For illumination it seems childish & glitchy it needs professional fixing.
& for museum, juventus official new base office, commercial & interior & outside complete result i will not express myself simply because it's not done & probably they'll need half a year or a year to be 100%.
Find REAL SPONSORS !!!
Forza Juve let's re-start to play football.
Mrs.Sissy September 9th, 2011, 07:06 PM I forgot concrete walls inside need to painted can't stay like that. That sort of mascot music after a goal is ugly as hell change it.
& bench is nice but if it like old traffors one where there are 2 rows not like ours it's like they're at school & we don't even have an emblem on front to show that they're players.
Like our commentators zone it's nice & it's even numbered that should be a professional bench.

GunnerJacket September 9th, 2011, 08:48 PM First off, congrats to Juve. Though I'm no fan of Italian footie this appears to be not only the best ground in Italy but among the best overall (tension cables notwithstanding, of course!). I've no doubt this will help Juve return to prominance by vastly improving atmosphere and fan interest, to say nothing of the financial benefits. Do note from this Arsenal fan, though, those benefits don't come right away since the stadium still needs to be paid off! But, oh how I wish the Emirates had such steep stands and closer seating like you now have in Turin. Alas.
A thought occurred to me revisiting this thread regarding the tension cables. I'm not sure the brackets underneath the beams is properly set for this but I wonder if much of this structural stability could be achieved by running similar cables diagonally across the roof opening? This would provide similar tension for the horizontal sheer of the roofing frame. To compensate for the adjusted vertical tension, additional cables could be strung from the focal points directly back under the beams to where the roof connects with the stadium itself (similar to strings on a compound bow). Granted, at this point the cost and work required to do this might be prohibitive, but the approach might be viable come the first expansion.
makkillottu September 9th, 2011, 09:31 PM The stadium model in the wind tunnel revealed some problems with the roof, so they decided to solve the problem with tension cables.
Velikoross September 9th, 2011, 11:26 PM Отличный стадион. Надеюсь у Спартака будет не хуже.

i know what you mean. it is nice stadium with special design but i cannot rate this 'top' same as the galatasaray stadium. the cost of this arena (105 mil) was 3 times less than the jewels from warsaw, bukarest, etc. all latest completed constructions.

yes if we have to judge through the money, well we can say Galatasaray stadium , Warsaw and others are more "top". But remember the stadium can be improved over the time but above all is completely ours unless Warsaw, Galatasary, bukarest etc... built with pubblic financial.:)
Fab87 September 10th, 2011, 12:45 PM Sorry sorry wait a minute...You really think that the new arena in Bucarest is any better than Juventus stadium, apart from capacity? Do we really want to compare them, in terms of facilities or structure? You gotta be kidding me!!!!!

Well, Juventus is still a great club with a lot of fans, even that they have done quite bad the last few years. But Juve still has a lot of traditions and a lot of fans, so I donīt agree that the stadium is "too much" for Juve ;)
Anyway, itīs not so many years ago that Juve had a very good team. Only five years ago Juventus was among the last eight in the Champions League, where they beated Real Madrid on aggregate but lost to Arsenal in the quarter finals. We are not talking about hundred years ago, but only five years ago :D
Itīs perfectly normal for any top club to have a few grey years where they donīt win. That has also happened for Manchester United, Barcelona, Milan, Inter, Bayern München and now it has happened with Juventus, just as it did from 1986-1995 where we passed nine years before winning the Italian Championship. But just as the other clubs, I mentioned here, have come back to their former strenght, this will also happen with Juventus. Trust me :D
I am sure that Juve will soon be in the Top 3 of Italian Football again, maybe already from this season. And certainly from the next season. They are building up a quite interesting team with the former Juve Legend Antonio Conte as a new very ambitious coach....
Gobbo September 10th, 2011, 01:08 PM Sorry sorry wait a minute...You really think that the new arena in Bucarest is any better than Juventus stadium, apart from capacity? Do we really want to compare them, in terms of facilities or structure? You gotta be kidding me!!!!!
A matter of taste, but I agree with you, and not only because I support Juventus :D
The stadium in Bucharest is a big and nice stadium, of course, but it doesnīt seem to have the same wall-effect as Juveīs stadium...the stands at Juventus Stadium are more steep and overall the atmosphere seems greater than in the Bucharest Stadium. But itīs only my opinion ;)
Fab87 September 10th, 2011, 01:10 PM 5 years it's not a longggg period time. World cup final 2006, 8 players from Juventus FC on the pitch. What happened then was the destruction of the club. This stadium is one step forward on the way to resurrection.

seats look cheap in Bucharest, they're not even retractable. it's quite normal, it's a stadium for the national team.

there are different type of seats from what i saw. i was just wondering how come the stadium of juve is so cheap.

Indeed, Juventus was destroyed by Calciopoli, or FARSOpoli as itīs called in Italy, because the whole trial was a farse....at the end Moggi and Juve werenīt any more guilty than Moratti and Inter, but they were relegated to Serie B while Inter was allowed to dominate Italian football for the next five years, because all the evidence against Inter was destroyed or hidden by the Italian football federation, FIGC and by the police officer Auricchio and the rest of the Investigation squad. Ridiculous
But the civil trial is not ended yet, so we might still see some surprises in this affair...if Moggi can prove his innocence, Juventus might get their two Scudettos back and get a huge financial compensation. But letīs see what happens ;)
Sorry for off topic, but I just wanīt to defend Juve because unfortunately a lot of people still think that Juventus are cheaters and Inter and Moratti are vergins and totally innocent - thatīs ridiculous
Fab87 September 10th, 2011, 01:37 PM there are different type of seats from what i saw. i was just wondering how come the stadium of juve is so cheap.
Because it was built on the ashes of the old Delle Alpi. The area you see in the pictures above and which looks a little bit cheap was part of the old stadium. Juventus didn't have to buy the ground, they bought the rights to build in 2004.
Plus, those damn cables helped to save a lot of money too, because otherwise they would have had to secure the roof to the stands in a different and more expensive way.
Last but not least, when it comes to competitions like euro2012 or the world cup, well, since government fundings are involved, costs usually rise. ;)
So remember: more expensive stadium doesn't mean better stadium

I should remind you that those early videos were prepared some 3-4 years ago just to give you an idea of how the stadium will look like and things change over time. A project designed on the drawing board and the actual structure are usually different. As the contruction goes on flaws come up and solutions have to be found.
Eg. Burj Khalifa when earlier planned was designed to be some 690-700 metres but in the end the actual structure is way over 800 metres.
Same way, the light lamps have been changed, the roof was changed. The cables have to be put on.
Why the stairs are not painted yellow, why there is no logo, why there are no light around the roof.....
May be these things were not necessary and not important.

Parma fans area was not full obviously, and in the south stand a lot of people couldn't be bothered to stay at their own seat and just stood in the middle of the curva., not because of the cables, but because of italian stadium habits.. This might be a problem in the future.

Thank you but can you also tell me how much was the attendence between milan vs lazio ?
dreaad September 12th, 2011, 06:45 PM ^^ are you sure about napoli FC?? only 12k? and roma and lazio? it's very low...
Mrs.Sissy September 12th, 2011, 06:48 PM Hmm, but how comes then that they said that the stadium was sold out?:)
I know that the Parma-sector was only 25% full (500 seats out of 2000). But still that means that the other sectors were not completely full, even that they had said that the stadium was sold out. Strange...
i don't why we have 2,500 seats for opponent sector , is it an order or min requirment ? because in england they're not so big or maybe i did'nt recognise other sectors well.
indeed there were seats empty near cables in corner apart a problem with premium tickets saw it on official site i think or juve forums where tessera del tifoso & booking isn't working as supposed to.
so 41k minus make 39k minuse maybe 2k all 4 corners ? & others are empty premium seats.
Gobbo September 12th, 2011, 06:55 PM ^^ are you sure about napoli FC?? only 12k? and roma and lazio? it's very low...
Nope, not sure about anything, just took the numbers from a Fiorentina Fan-site :D
But you can make a google-search and check the numbers out. Just write ABBONAMENTI SERIE A 2011-12 or ABBONATI NAPOLI 2011-12 ;)
Thank you but can you also tell me how much was the attendence between milan vs lazio ?
Gazzetta dello Sport says: 18.839 spectators only, but I am sure this must be PAGANTI, this means people who paid at the entry. I believe that you must add the number of ABBONATI (season ticket holders) to this number:
18839 paganti + 29.704 abbonati = 48.543 spectators.
For example, Gazzetta.com also says that there were only 12.139 paying spectators (paganti) to the Juve-Parma game. But if you add these 12.139 to the 24.000 ticket holders (abbonati), the real number must be something like 36.139 ;)
The highest attendance in weekends Serie A games was 56.000 spectators watching Roma-Cagliari 1-2 (40.000 paganti and 16.000 abbonati).
Mrs.Sissy September 12th, 2011, 06:57 PM ^^ are you sure about napoli FC?? only 12k? and roma and lazio? it's very low...
they're base on tickets valid for whole year apart from that it's visible that good season of team in italy boost by much look inter last year are 38k & milan improved with win of title.
napoli with champions league will fill up single games easily i think.
lazio should fill up they will have & had last year good season.
udinese & palermo & other team depends very much bby big teams going in their home ground at least that's what i see although udinese should support their team they're stil there for europe league this year although they sold key players.
roma & us juve are in similar position we need more support than others but as in italy everything is upside down we will not see improvement until were atleast in europe & show that were close on top in italy.
Mrs.Sissy September 12th, 2011, 06:58 PM Nope, not sure about anything, just took the numbers from a Fiorentina Fan-site :D

Let's hope that numerous other Italian clubs will follow this example.
Saeed_Persian September 12th, 2011, 07:34 PM question about the goal net....what happened to the ones with green, white, red colors like the italian flag? they should use that net instead of the plain white....it goes with the whole juve stadium colors of the italian flag
also, they need to fix that grass to be nicer...it took a beating from the ceremony

Scot87 September 14th, 2011, 01:13 PM Looks really good I think.
Perhaps someone like Curva Nord could answer me this, but what kind of atmosphere was there against Parma?
I mean it seemed quite loud from the highlights I saw but did the Ultras manage to co-exist all being together and was the stadium good at keeping the noise in?

The atmosphere was awesome! We were 35k supporters, but it sounded like if there were 80k people into the stadium. Really big crowd.
Ultras co-exist and collaborate to sing together on the two tiers of South Stand. In North Stand we had some problems because stewarts ordered to sit down, so it was difficult organizing to sing together...
We hope the collaboration between the ultras groups in South will continue...

I agree...in a CURVA people come to sing and have fun, not only to watch the game...
If people only come to watch the game, but without singing and supporting their team, they can to to the TRIBUNA...in the curva itīs a tradition, at least in Italy, that people sing and have banners and flags....
So I am very much against the Idea that people have to sit down, at least in the curvas.
I like the way they do it in Germany: there people are allowed to be standed behind the goals (the curvas). But I donīt like the British way, were people have to sit down, also beind the goals. BORING!!
Here are some photos from Juventus tifosi from the eighties (anni ottanta: 1980-90)....the atmosphere was just better then ;)
