I prefer this way.
Fab87 May 24th, 2011, 02:38 PM Don't forget one thing: the stairs are likely to be painted yellow, the stars won't be the only yellow thing
juve7 May 24th, 2011, 08:50 PM Waht do you mean they are just seats:sly:

axelferis is not to be taken seriously :D
Sponsor May 24th, 2011, 10:19 PM Actually Axelferis is right. Those stars look too simple.
Fab87 May 24th, 2011, 10:25 PM we are talking about seats, not high definition lcd screens...c'mon...

i have no source, it's just my opinion, but I think this stadium won't have any sponsor name cause they are having difficulties to find it.

i don't mean to sound arrogant and too juventusly, but selling naming right is not hard a task and its not that expensive either, and from my understanding Juve have no main control of it (they sold their stadium marketing right to Sportfive long ago) ....

Its not really Juve's problem - so to speak.. Yes they sold it / was paid by sportfive. So its not a problem for Juve really.

from a french sports news site:
" It is indispensable in the next years to have a new generation of stadiums because the accumulated delay is significant and because it is not possible to fill it otherwise ", indicated Giancarlo Abete, president of the FIGC"

Paulitos May 27th, 2011, 02:27 PM cause of the cables in front of the people...
e basta serial!!!!!! stop complaining, we know they will be there, let's talk about the good things. Incredible slope of stands, benchs embedded into the main stand (like old Trafford), very good proximity to the pitch, good effects by the seats! come on!
AzeemClark May 28th, 2011, 01:22 PM Been following the forum for the last one year without registering. Its a very beautiful stadium and hope it boosts the club and brings success both financially and on the pitch.
When are they going to lay the grass?

VINCI PER NOI May 30th, 2011, 04:08 PM New stadium looks great and I like the red and green details. Last visited Delle Alpi in 1999 - the Conte / Viola / Corner Flag game! - and want to get back to Torino to see the new place. Was at Stadio Olimpico with Chelsea in 2009.
FORZA JUVE.
AshVentini May 30th, 2011, 05:33 PM whaouhh  terriiiifiiiiic & gorgeous
I went past the stadium a week ago. It can be seen from a few miles away from the north east. A JEWEL in the Alps... This stadium already has soul and identity.... Cannot be confused with any other.
It was good to say farewell to the Olympico against Napoli. :)
Axelferis May 30th, 2011, 06:48 PM you know it is not hard to have a soul when you eliminate this athletic track that used to ruin the ambiance :|
But yes it has its identity.

Identity oh course.... Soul yes... However i dont agree it is easy to have soul as you think above...
Does Man City have soul. And they remove the track? NO.
Why will Juve new have soul? Because of the history of team, location, success & the fact the new stadium is built upon the Old Delle Alpi (and much of the old stadium remains :):):)) You cannot simply buy all this..
MoreOrLess May 30th, 2011, 09:49 PM The old stadium while clearly inferior for football had a good deal more character that its replacement for me.
AzeemClark May 30th, 2011, 10:00 PM Those gaps in the stands in the third photo.... they will be closed after the construction?
Axelferis May 30th, 2011, 10:35 PM no it is an exit for logistic needs.
Ash-> Man city is the typical souless team and stadium :) .Don't like this billionaires club
AshVentini May 30th, 2011, 11:29 PM The old stadium while clearly inferior for football had a good deal more character that its replacement for me.
I actually agree with you here. I loved the old stadium. It was just impressive all round, but sadly not good from spectator aspect...
This new one is a good balance of both worlds.. :)
AzeemClark May 30th, 2011, 11:30 PM no it is an exit for logistic needs.

Do all stadiums have them?
Offcourse they took so many players away from us.
Andre_idol May 31st, 2011, 01:04 AM ^^Usually stadiums have them in the corners. But the one they have in the corner seems narrow...hence the one in the middle I guess. But being that zone just behind the goal, which often does not provide a good view, is understandable the placement of the gap there in my opinion.
Paulitos May 31st, 2011, 01:15 AM Those gaps in the stands in the third photo.... they will be closed after the construction?
the one in the middle will be closed with an idraulic system that will open the gate just for heavy machinery and there will be seats on it, the one on the right side is for emergency vehicles.

2dninja June 2nd, 2011, 07:49 PM does Moggi sent to jail already?
"jail" is a big word. People like Moggi never go to jail.
R.K.Teck June 2nd, 2011, 08:05 PM I'm glad the plant tunnel behind the goals will be sealed and seated after constuction, it would have looked silly because it is slightly of centre, and "behind the goals" is many people's favourite seats.
A quick question regarding the seating pattern, the bottom level is all white seats with scattered black seats near the top, will the top level be black seats with scattered whit seats near the bottom so the two tiers blend together, black down to white?
EDIT
Answer: Top tier is also mainly white, the footballer figures will be completed on the top tier, and the upper corners will be black.

IMO I am glad they choose grey and white (not too much black on inside either) BLACK AND WHITE would almost be too much. It would have either looked like zebra stripes or a chequered flag in racing.... This is more subtle and softer on the eye... It's the correct choice IMO.

Axelferis June 5th, 2011, 11:12 AM that's why i tried several times to explain them :|
Moggi was the "godfather" of calcio!
I remember in 1998 how scandalously was the victory of national title
Referee didn't react on the obvious fault which was to give a penalty on ronaldo in the match inter vs juventus!! There was fights in parliament between deputees. :ohno:
This referee must has been paid by moggi and it biased the match

Stop talking crap! That THEORY is ever Inter fans obsession and has no facts..
And referee's never make genuine mistakes....??? Of course not... Thats why Juve must have cheated...:ohno: People forget that Del Piero was arguably the best player in the world (some think Ronaldo) at that point and scored great goal...

bullshits! i already told you not talking about things you don't know, half italy hates Juventus and the italian press, too. there's a criminal trial in Naples and Moggi is showing that he's not the devil, while others are the real godfathers, moratti and Berlusconi.

big lies....if were moggi i would sue you.
What about recoba fake passport? he played all matches of that season like if he was italian, but he wasn't. Who is the godfather? who cheat? who lie? the problem of moggi and juve is they used to win without the power which milan and inter have. So that's why these clubs decided, at one point, to crash juve.
All the rest is lies and propaganda.

I am sure it will be ready. 3 months is a lot of time at this situation and I think the main things will be completed. I think they already said the rest of the area will take time to develop.
This stadium is built in an English way so the camera position should also be an English position. Anyhow this stadium will look good from all places.

Moggi was punished by the the sport laws , but we all know that it was a fake judgement, (lack of investigations, Inter's phone tappings missing etc..) and yes, half italy is against Juve because , if you don't know, we are the most winning team in Italy, and that's why it's the prefered club in italy.
Axelferis June 5th, 2011, 06:20 PM i have to recognize that i prefer far inter than juve but i'm not a defender of inter .
It's just shocking to see people don't recognize that this ancient mogul and his controversial pratices had been punished for the sake of calcio
Serial killer-> moggi would sue me? but he's himself sued for this dark past, why???!

No offense mate but what happiness does an Internazionale supporter get from this forum topic which is Juventus arena.
English position of camera's are closer to the pitch just like spectators, players are bigger on the TV screen, jersey numbers are visible. It has been missing only in Serie A now this new stadium can turn things around.
Saw updated pics of the stadium from their website and the roof tops have been recolored from grey to white. White looks good.

I'm sure they'll find a common ground. That said, Juve average well below their potential, so they can only go up. The benefits of the new stadium will far outweigh anything that might upset a core group of supporters.

Still 2 months to go and its a lot of time at this situation. I think the stadium will be ready for the start of the season as you can see in the link that they are already preparing to lay the pitch. I think they will complete all the necessary things first (interiors of the stadium, seats, media, roof, electricals, etc) first and then try and develop other things later (like the green areas and stuff) but what you said could be possible as construction around the stadium during matches makes things a little messy.
As for what I know, we are out of European football. Was anything going to change?

No, nothing was going to change so far as I know, I was simply asking as I hadn't kept track of the final standings, that was all. Need to try to follow other leagues a bit closer next season.
I hope that Juve can start the season in the new ground, although undoubtedly there will be work going on around the ground for some time after 'completion' no doubt, as at most new stadiums.

It is upto the fans to increase the capacity :) because I think fans should go and watch the match in the new stadium. When more people go and watch the match then I think they will increase the capacity in future because people will be coming. At the moment, 41,000 is enough. I heard somewhere that they are able to add 15,000 seats in the future but never confirmed, it is true or untrue I don't know.
In Italy they are lucky because they can go and watch Juve matches regularly.
There are some new photos in GiùlemanidallaJuve Forum check it out :)

NAPRED June 12th, 2011, 07:07 AM Excellent stadium. I gotta say one negative about Italian football over the years is the stadium of many clubs arent very practical and pleasing to the public eye. Dont get me wrong there are many world class stadiums in Serie A, but most of the lower clubs and middle clubs stadiums are too far away from the action for example.
But this stadium is looking very pleasing to the eye. Should create a great atmosphere for Juve supporters.

I think its a waste to put big screens in a stadium like this. Really massive screens come into there own when you have lots of fans with less than ideal views either on a flat lower teir or way back in an upper teir, this stadium isnt big enough for either of those to be a factor.

Yes. I also estimated Juve saved about 100M because they used Delle Alpi existing infrastructure... So I think the true cost if built from new would be closer to 250M...

would you like fall down?? there are 10 meters of height behind those fences.
the first tier is under road level.

Fab87 June 21st, 2011, 01:34 PM fences are there it's all i see
These are not fences to limit ultras area, there is a 10 meters gap behind those fences, if you always want to criticize feel free, but it's like saying that protection fences on the tour eiffel should not be there.
BY the way, what does UEFA say about those horrible protection nets behind the goals in the super-perfect stadium in Gdansk? :) I warn you Axelferis, if I see any kind of net in your new Lille stadium i will point it out everywhere!
Paulitos June 21st, 2011, 01:40 PM fences are there it's all i see
Axel come on, they are there for security:bash:

In Lille fences are integrated in the stadium.

Curva Nord June 21st, 2011, 02:38 PM New Stadium, review the work
June 21, 2011
It is fast approaching the start of the 2011/12 football season. A season that will be historic for Juventus, who will play in its new stadium. Just as it is leaving the campaign subscriptions (see news), within the site continues to work hard. Still in full compliance with the schedule.
In the last few weeks have seen great progress. Both inside and outside the plant.
In particular, we worked hard on the implementation of the playing field. It's all part of the plant completed, and drainage, irrigation and heating. It is therefore proceeding with the installation of the layer of soil, sand, silt and clay. For the completion of this phase is missing only the zollatura, which will be made in late July.
Although the stands are starting to show the face that will have work completed. Have already been fitted to all seats of the first level of the bleachers and is already working on the second level.
Meanwhile, the phase of decoration of the rooms has begun in earnest. In particular, the staging is in the process of changing rooms, 100 of the media and the Tribune. In the coming days you will pass the area of the boxes.
Outside the plant has also started the construction of the "stars". Those legends of the 50 eagle, but especially those purchased by fans through the "Light a Star." Initiative that continues, for more information, click here.
Regarding the role of urbanization, continuing the activities started in recent months: the retraining of the release of Venaria and completion of the parking lots, for which has already been completed on Lot 1, while working on Lots 2 and 3.

Axel, the fences UEFA is talking about is inside the stadium as far as i know..... inside the stadium fences could pose a hazard to supporters, but i doubt UEFA cares about fences outside the stadium.
o.S.T.mus.tis.nt. June 21st, 2011, 06:22 PM They could put a smaller fence, or at least something that is not so ugly.

I know but new recomandation is to not have fences also outside the stadium in the place where fans could meet. I know it because when you the plans for newer stadium it is applied as a recomandation of UEFA.
I invent nothing but be assured i still thought the stadium is just beautiful despite of this :)

maybe you don't realize that it could be dangerous walk next to the stadium without those fences. Security it's not a joke. What would happen if someone fell and died over the gap? a child for example.
anyway what you see is only the second tier, you can't go anywhere from there. Just the void under your feet.

I hope no in the future. They should fix it by glass all along.

Scot87 June 22nd, 2011, 04:34 AM It's certainly an impressive stadium.
I have a couple of questions for the guys on here, probably more likely the Juve fans from Turin could help me with them but I was wondering;
1) Do you have any idea how many season tickets Juve will sell for this stadium? I imagine in order to buy one you will need a TDT, which I realise isn't popular? Will Juve fill this stadium week in and week out?
2) Secondly I was wondering if anyone knew if the Juve Ultras had decided at which end they will be situated? Will all Ultra Groups be in the one curva, or will it be like in the Olimpic stadium with Drughi in one end, and the others in the opposite end. Will they be able to put aside their differences for the good of the team?
Many thanks for any info.

All ultras groups will be located in the same curva, which by the way will not be called "curva" but "tribuna". Since there is a big rivalry between Drughi and Tradizione they were not happy about this, but i think it's time to solve this problems. They have an opportunity to get riper, if they don't, they're gonna face the consequences.
@Axelferis: the view of the pitch behind the LED screens is perfect, we posted pictures showing that. Probably the last 2-3 rows will not be able to see part of the opposite curva, but LED screens were placed there (below roof level) in order to make them visible for all people. Plus, there are 2 smaller LED screens placed on the rear of the bigger ones, so that even the people sitting in the upper rows of the curvas will be able to look at the screen

You can buy tickets also without TDT.
To buy tickets for all matches of the season ("subscription") and to go in away matches, you need it.
Yesterday there was a boom of subscriptions, IMHO there will be just 5-10k tickets for every match, at high prices.

TbMack June 23rd, 2011, 12:20 PM :ohno:Damn cables!
I understand most people's disappointment with the cables in the new stadium, but lets not ruin the "final run in" or the "build up" to the new stadium with negative comments about the cables. The cables suck :bash:, but its pretty pessimistic to dwell on it...
If you really look at it...
Negative points about the stadium:
4 sets of cables (ruining the view for JUST a small fraction of the spectators. Which BTW can be fixed at a later date.)
Postive points about the stadium:
Football only stadium.
Great atmosphere, fans closer to the pitch
A first in the Serie A.
Additional streams of revenue.
Steep seating slope should create an intimidating feeling for visiting team.
Relatively cheap cost.
45,000 capacity makes it easier to regularly sell out matches.
We wont pay rent to the Comune for a stadium.
Its open 7 days a week.
Plus we are years ahead of our rivals (AT LEAST 5-10 years before Milan, Inter, Roma, Lazio etc have their own stadium).
Its a beautiful stadium (IMO at least)
So the question now is..... do you want a stadium with cables, or no stadium at all? The cables are reality, it sucks, but lets get over it and enjoy watching the stadium unfold.

I think some of you guys has to read a book of management :|
How many days/year football matchs will host there?
I know the MAIN purpose is football but a good manager has to propose some concerts or other events to make cash!
i don't know a simple stadium which is dedicated just for football.
Even emirates hold some extra sportives event like summer concerts
