TbMack June 23rd, 2011, 05:00 PM Juve fans really think it will serve only football?
I think some of you guys has to read a book of management :|
How many days/year football matchs will host there?
I know the MAIN purpose is football but a good manager has to propose some concerts or other events to make cash!
i don't know a simple stadium which is dedicated just for football.
Even emirates hold some extra sportives event like summer concerts
Axel...
A football only stadium is another way of saying no athletics track.
TbMack June 23rd, 2011, 05:03 PM Did you mean 2%? I would say about 5%.
5% sounds about right.... I still would consider 5% a small part of the spectators
PugliaBianconera June 23rd, 2011, 05:11 PM 20% is not true!!!

RMB2007 June 23rd, 2011, 06:43 PM Stupid cables. Only kidding. ;) Being serious, some people on here have mentioned that the cables can be fixed at a later date, but has there been anything official on this? The cables are a slight disappointment, however, the rest of the stadium is pure class. I so love the way they've arranged the seats. Fingers crossed that this stadium will be the first of many new football stadiums to be built in Italy. :)
AzeemClark June 23rd, 2011, 07:53 PM Arm chairs  I can see that but still can't wait for some close up pics please

Agree. 5% sounds about right. 7 or 8 max.
The Cyclist June 23rd, 2011, 10:23 PM Thanks Puglia!:)
I just had to read that in the Tribuna Sivori and Tribuna Boniperti there weren't any monitors integrated to the seats, my fault...:hammer:
Andre_idol June 24th, 2011, 12:24 AM Is that a screen on those fancy seats? Cause I´m waiting for a stadium with some of those for a while :D edit: Oh...just noticed the comment above...my bad.
Is there already any news about zones/prices for season tickets?
PortobelloRoad June 24th, 2011, 09:45 AM Is there already any news about zones/prices for season tickets?
Yes.
The seasonal tickets are on sale: price from 270 € (North and South) to 800€ (West 1°, central).
Take a look here, there is a stadium map with the different zones per price:

kareem123 June 24th, 2011, 11:34 AM steeper*
Belmondo96 June 24th, 2011, 01:27 PM Hi!
I think, maybe we must not worry about the cables. They are only in the corners of stadium, where segments of roof are absent. So, cables pulls roof downwards, imitating weight of the future segments of roof. Maybe when builders will install missing segments of roof, they will take away the cables.
Mrs.Sissy June 24th, 2011, 01:48 PM It is visibly steeper maybe because they are in black seats so we cant recognise them well.that gate open am i seeing right it isnt in the middle ??If so why because it seems bad development??
Also why those barriers are they forced from uefa or figc the italian sport association??The stairs will be painted gold??Thanks im new sorry for strange writing :)

The gate is required for vehicles to come in and exit. It will be closed after the construction so don't worry about it at all.
Barriers or fences, inside and outside the stadium are required for safety reasons. Stairs will be painted in yellow or as you said gold.
Mrs.Sissy June 24th, 2011, 04:25 PM Thanks azeem for the answer but please look at bolso last picture you see that gate it isnt in center????Because im seeing in the left few chairs than right....Is it bad development or there is other reason ??
Also i heard the name will be nike, ryanair, samsung or sony arena is there really a chance to be true ??

It is clearly off the center but I don't think its a bad development or mistake. Its just a temporary gate and a temporary requirement so take it lightly :) The gate on the right of the photo is a permanent one.
Sony Arena would be good. I am a fan of Sony

Mrs.Sissy June 26th, 2011, 12:16 PM There are certain areas missing on outside they will remain like that ????because is strange that areas remained without facade..
Also will the roof have black colour because on official site there is rendering picture with a sort of striped black & white roof........

Thats a very old rendering picture you refer to I think.
VINCI PER NOI June 26th, 2011, 01:09 PM Just a quick note from a Chelsea season ticket holder : those Juve ST prices seem just ***ridiculously*** cheap.
I'm amazed, to be honest.

Maybe they actually care about their fans and dont have to fund massive losses by buying ridiculously expensive somewhat average players?:wink2:
Don't get me wrong. I'm not a chelsea hater, but I hate what clubs like Chelsea and Man C do to the sport. I believe Uefa call it financial doping...There's no respect in that...
But to your question. Juve historically only make about 10% of their annual revenue from match days. They make 65% from TV income. So even if they charge double what the season tickets was previously, it doesnt really make a huge huge difference. Premium seats will make a lot though...The new stadium is expected to generate about 20-25% more revenue per year. Oh finally the stadium doesnt require fans to finance it. It's mostly covered already via naming rights deal / previously they already bought the old stadium & land in 2003. They have planned this project very well and for a long time.

Mate - I wish CFC were financially self-sufficient too...but that's a discussion for another time.
As a Juve follower (I can't really call myself a fan, there is only one club in my life), I just hope Juve can pack in 45,000 every game. To be honest, I am sick and tired of having to explain away how Juve are Italy's biggest club, yet do not match the pulling power of other European greats. In light of your comments about Juve's revenue streams, maybe the cheap seat prices are a positive approach to that. Capacity stadium every week = hightened demand for the Juve product...and maybe less rude comments from my mates...
Mrs.Sissy June 26th, 2011, 03:20 PM You would avoid rude comments by seeing facts....Juventus as said before me have 65-70%percent tv rights highest in in italy so it will be still difficult to fill every stadium..Italy culture of football only excels when juvevsmilan or derbies clash in otherwise medium to low teams you have low spectators....Apart from that the old delle alpi had horrible view i can assure you it was intimidating not only for opponents but even for us..Is is still one of the best stadiums & biggest especially of that time with its unique design.
Mrs.Sissy June 26th, 2011, 03:23 PM Every team in italia even the national team doenst fill up sometimes....Other than that its based on average attendance because i can assure you juventus are 1 of the best even as fans in important matches they show up...In italy they act as superior to others & thats one of the mistake that send italy football into disgrace...Its one of the things to be set new for rebirth of italian football rebirth..They need to forget there 3 former g8 extroardinary teams & what they won & start all over again.
Mrs.Sissy June 26th, 2011, 03:27 PM I am talking on facts lets talk about the merchandising effect in italy....Example juventus just started facebook & make not long ago a seroius professional official site....In a bit more than one month already 2million users i mean they just need to do like england & germany..They didn't start before like other countries & theyre paying the consequences where french teams are close to reduce us another team from champions league..Maybe thats what we merit for being too old stylish & stupid to keep on old trophies & old football.
Mrs.Sissy June 26th, 2011, 03:29 PM I tell you even more foreign investors & even important players that can easily play in england or spain will not even come here....New management roma isn't strong enough & interested in football so its practically in the same shit apart from that i think di benedetto has some shares in liverpool where they practically are in our same position(juventus)..
flavze June 26th, 2011, 03:59 PM You would avoid rude comments by seeing facts....Juventus as said before me have 65-70%percent tv rights highest in in italy so it will be still difficult to fill every stadium..Italy culture of football only excels when juvevsmilan or derbies clash in otherwise medium to low teams you have low spectators....Apart from that the old delle alpi had horrible view i can assure you it was intimidating not only for opponents but even for us..Is is still one of the best stadiums & biggest especially of that time with its unique design.
italian TV rights are changing though, much more even spread from next season i think it is.

I would´t say 45k in every match but I wonder if they will have any match of Serie A with less than 30k. It´s quite simple and doesn´t matter if your last season was crap or if the pre-season didn´t go as expected... A new stadium will always be an incentive for supporters and with those prices I can almost assure that they will sell something like 30k season tickets. I´m saying this because it was what happened in Portugal after the construction of new stadiums. Then during the season the number of people in the stadium will depend on how well goes the season...because despite having 30k seats sold and the money already in the pockets it´s necessary to play good matches to make those 30k appear in every match.

Only very slightly. Juve only loose about 5% or something like that.
The intent was to spread it out, but the top 3 teams still hugely outweigh the lower teams..

It was said why juventus fan do not fill stadiums & i answered that its a problem that occurs everywhere in italy as long as they dont know how to modernise football.
barbados1 June 27th, 2011, 12:21 AM I understand most people's disappointment with the cables in the new stadium, but lets not ruin the "final run in" or the "build up" to the new stadium with negative comments about the cables. The cables suck :bash:, but its pretty pessimistic to dwell on it...
If you really look at it...
Negative points about the stadium:
4 sets of cables (ruining the view for JUST a small fraction of the spectators. Which BTW can be fixed at a later date.)
Postive points about the stadium:
Football only stadium.
Great atmosphere, fans closer to the pitch
A first in the Serie A.
Additional streams of revenue.
Steep seating slope should create an intimidating feeling for visiting team.
Relatively cheap cost.
45,000 capacity makes it easier to regularly sell out matches.
We wont pay rent to the Comune for a stadium.
Its open 7 days a week.
Plus we are years ahead of our rivals (AT LEAST 5-10 years before Milan, Inter, Roma, Lazio etc have their own stadium).
Its a beautiful stadium (IMO at least)
So the question now is..... do you want a stadium with cables, or no stadium at all? The cables are reality, it sucks, but lets get over it and enjoy watching the stadium unfold.
How will the ties be fixed? and what intentions do the club have on fixing them and how can it be done?
TbMack June 27th, 2011, 12:31 AM How will the ties be fixed? and what intentions do the club have on fixing them and how can it be done?
I do not know if the club has any intention of fixing it but I do know it is possible. So basically it CAN be fixed, but it might not be.
Andre_idol June 27th, 2011, 02:40 AM If it can be fixed they should go for it now...the money has to be spent anyway...

But the seats look really cool.
Mrs.Sissy June 28th, 2011, 10:38 AM Those white doors suck balls sorry to say childish stuff....Too much glass with that stranger colour it doesnt fit that much i mean light blue with white & black..The seats would have been nice all like vips the white on the others seems cheap to say truth..The bench looks like format old trafford but altough here are nearer to the pitch they suck with that glass old trafford is with style rail because instead of glass they should have made rails like british clubs..Last i hope they replenish & paint the 7 meters between ground & fans in black tarmac or somethin..

How can you tell how the seats look like when they're covered with plastic..
Glass is well transparent, you know, that's why they're using it. It is blue because it's an anti-reflective one. Plus, i think that our benches will feel like being really surrounded by the crowd, whereas you don't get the same feeling with the ones in Manchester. If they choose the same type of benches of Manchester, they'd have to sacrifice some seats, and slightly reduce capacity.

Mrs.Sissy June 28th, 2011, 12:10 PM Well i compared the seats with the ones with arm chairs & theres a difference...too much glass i mean look british stadiums includes your picture look how less barriers if any at least..I'm seeing the picture the 7meters gap should be like that with turf too looks nice..About that bench of old trafford its fantastic you say reduce seats but i think it would be minimal differences..I look the rendering on the site the benches look better with stair conducting to pitch in wood colour stylish seats was more professional & good contrast with white & black.
Overall for me the stadium is better than many others of the big teams i give it 7 out of 10 but i believe when it will finish it will go 8 :)

Italian laws prescribe a 1.10m high fence between stands and the pitch. But they have fences in Britain too, behind the ads panels there is a fence of about the same height.
As you said, let's wait and see the final result!
TbMack June 28th, 2011, 03:37 PM IN YOUR OPINION how or what is the best way to rectify this horrible mistake. Just give me your view.
I would adjust the roof a bit to accomodate the cables on the outside....something like this...
http://www.stadiumsofprofootball.com/afc/images/dolphin10951.jpg
notice how the four pillars that extend above the roof, help keep the roof in place using cables. This is my way of addressing this issue. Im not sure though if its practical
And granted it does change the appearance of the whole stadium, but the four pillars dont have to be so distinctive, like they are here, they could be more subtle.

A couple of months back I posted some ideas to fix the roof. Using a pully system which is anchored to the outside...
alabro June 28th, 2011, 10:51 PM Question RE the cables.
Is it maybe possible that these cables are removed on matchdays, and re-attached after the matches?
While it may sound ridiculous, there are other stadiums where temporary supports are put in place to support the roof which are removed on matchdays, mostly on older roofs, but in principal it may well be an option, even a weather dependant option.

I wonder if its got to do with city permit (if you were to add external structural additions, fear of more time needed/wasted) ... It's safe to assume Juve didn't hire lousy firm/contractor to build the stadium...

I only hope they refurbish the base painting it etc because i know fences were made so noone falls but it'doesn't mean they leave it ugly like that down there considering pictures posted here. Not only outside & interior but even safety & base parts.

See how a simple system located to the base outside the stadium skeleton could be used to create tension (basically tension can be created in any direction needed by the number and position of the cogs and wires)
Here.
The middle picture. Imagine that wire running down alongside the skeleton (inside the facade?). The wire is on TOP of the wheel..! The other direction the wire would run inward along the roof frame and would then run UNDER a wheel in each inner corner of the roof. The tension of the wire to the floor on the outside would easily create down force to the same effect as those nasty wires today. All they need to do is plumb the system in. Fairly cheap and almost invisible.

No, in northern side there are other parts to be covered. Nothing of extreme difficult, next month it will be complete ;)
AzeemClark June 30th, 2011, 11:34 PM I thought they left that gap in the exterior cover because they were putting two golden stars but now I can see there are no stars.
Maybe now they will put the sponsor logo there I think.
kareem123 July 1st, 2011, 12:11 AM does anyone have any comments on the transfers of champions that will be playing in our new stadium?
i personally believe that this transfer window has the potential to be very beneficial to the resurrection of the glory days.. and i hope Aguero will be playing in this stadium next year.

Curva Nord July 1st, 2011, 09:27 AM does anyone have any comments on the transfers of champions that will be playing in our new stadium?
i personally believe that this transfer window has the potential to be very beneficial to the resurrection of the glory days.. and i hope Aguero will be playing in this stadium next year.
The "big player" will arrive. Aguero, Sanchez or Tevez I guess...
Pirlo is another champion, a very important man for the new Juve in the midfield, good players are also the Swiss Ziegler and Lichsteiner.
We are also waiting for an other midfielder and a left wing, the names are Vucinic, Bastos or Nani.
After 5 years, I am really confident about next season: we have to win the title!
Mrs.Sissy July 1st, 2011, 11:06 AM Aguero is not the right player for juve they need personality infront & he does not posses it.As how conte plays he needs wingers i would see lennon, nani, ribery or bale with krasic & bastos better behind left back hes not the best at winger he like to push so practically when its in need he would be pushed to midfield.
The swiss players are 2 of the best in italy only after the real maicon not of this years. They are without doubt better than chivu, antonini, abate, cassani, balzaretti etc.
Mrs.Sissy July 1st, 2011, 11:08 AM Does anyone of you possess any pictures of the inside i mean shower rooms dress rooms , interview media places & btw will there be a small pitch of the grass before entering in the stadium pitch?saw it on rendering & it seems very cool & intimidating somehow.
kareem123 July 1st, 2011, 12:41 PM i really hope Bastos doesn't sign for juve.. the Lyon managment have done really well to cover up his dip in form..
i mean, he is a player who relies mainly on his pace, and at the age of nearly 28.. he is loosing his pace.. also, why do you think Bastos was excluded from the starting squad for Lyons last 4 games? he is dead wood.. it would be like another martinez, he will flop.
a good solution for the left wing would be bale or perotti of atletico.
AzeemClark July 1st, 2011, 01:01 PM Conte's favorite formation is 4-2-4 with high percentage of attack from wings but also from centre with a strong defence.
The first few signings shows that next season there will more than 70 to 80 goals scored by Juve. Pirlo still has high quality. Reto Ziegler is a full back who loves to attack and he will be playing the role of a second winger.
Aguero is quality but 40 - 45 million.... I don't think so. They should buy him for much cheaper rate but If its not possible they should go for more G. Rossi and spend more on Winger. I would be the happiest man on earth if juve spend money on Nani because under Conte, Nani will get more oppurtunity to score goals and provide assists....Nani this season have a lot of Assists and can score more goals than ever. So even 40 - 50 million... no problem pay it.
midfield with Pirlo, Marchisio, Nani, Krasic = Wow :righton:
Today Juve's stadium sponsor contract starts... any news :naughty:

Mrs.Sissy July 1st, 2011, 03:09 PM In my opinion in a single football match there can be luck although usually luck is used for mistakes by opponent players but in a tournament the best team in terms of play always win you should be one that knows this because in france psg, marseille & lyon are the best & now probably psg will dominate for many years.
Btw i saw lille stadium for that price it should have had more & personally i think it sucks due to its price range thats all.Lille this year played well but other teams sucked hard just see lyon.

It is not striped. They are part of the ETFE clear segments that are structurally integral to the roof sections. Its just looks like grey stripes becasue of the shading. Trust me its all white.

Im almost positive they will have some LED or lights on them for safety reasons. The reason the old poles were red & white is because by law they have to be (because the stadium is close to airport) Thats why the new poles have red dashes on the top! And at night lighting is required for planes and high structures... so yes they must have lighting I think...

The whole roof is ETFE. Translucent fabric (like allianz arena). The clear segments are part of the struts or beams of the joining sections of the roof. But simply they are supposed to allow extra light in etc. Thats my understanding anyway.

no i have to correct you. The roof is in PVC, not ETFE, they are similar but slightly differents. Only the segments are in ETFE i guess to let the light pass through.
the PVC does what the ETFE does but is less efficient. We all thought it was ETFE in the first place but it's not a problem to me.

TbMack July 4th, 2011, 04:00 PM Can someone explain what the TDT system is, why calcio needs it, and why all the dissent towards the tesserra. From my understanding it is a security move, so why is that bad?
Curva Nord July 4th, 2011, 04:32 PM Without TDT supporters can't buy seasonal tickets or going in away matches. It's an electronic card used to enter in the stadium.
Ultras are against this card because say that all people with TDT are "filed" by the police through the personal photo and other personal datas.
AzeemClark July 4th, 2011, 04:46 PM Yes. The big part of ultras understand that is not useful keep protesting...subscribe TDT is the only possibility to find tickets in their stand. ;)

It's to do with Torino population, in the past when FIAT was buzzing it had almost a 2mil. population, now theres not even a million.
Andrju_juvee July 4th, 2011, 04:57 PM It's to do with Torino population, in the past when FIAT was buzzing it had almost a 2mil. population, now theres not even a million.
is it a real problem ?? Manchester have ~ 500 000 population , Marseile ~ 800 000 :/
Mrs.Sissy July 4th, 2011, 05:49 PM I doubt that they will sell all tickets....Statistics say say that currently torino has 2million people including nearby places to it..
If it has 900k its still enough to fill a 40k so it was never a problem..The only acceptable reason is that in torino & italy in general don't have that will to fill it up if you see spain for example thats its smaller than italy they fill stadiums more than us.
Mrs.Sissy July 4th, 2011, 05:51 PM Torino is the second team in turin the foundation date says that apart from story but also if you know football history you would know that torino was founded from juventus founders so there derby is practically in family.

Mrs.Sissy July 4th, 2011, 05:55 PM I am pretty sure that at least 40k more in turin dont go in stadium but stay to watch from tv..The reason of that they have all fans in world & italy isn't acceptable because lesst populated countries & their lower teams fill up more frequently than in italy where napoli & roma almost fill it up....Were talking about average so it's an italy supporting system defect not juventus which in big games they can fill big stadiums no problem.
If you calculate torino take away fans from us but dont tell me that from 900k all of them are for torino that doesn't even fill the 28k stadium or other teams.

I can give you a list immediately on which aspects they will need to refurbish or restruct
italian flag leds on poles.
better bench system like player near each other not infront or behind like in school.
capacity if all goes well to 55-70k because modern stadiums thats the maximun range for optimal views infact more than that would be reduced.
hoping for suitable sponser name & retain delle alpi as european games because its famous now & apart from that it had short lifespan.
take care of painting refurbishment of stadium like painting & take care even where it isnt visible not only where its possible to be seen on a newspaper or magazine front page.
juvemikey July 5th, 2011, 01:48 AM have followed progress from day one. A classy stadium. My first post. Hope their is no big issue regarding the roof. I think that an image from earlier this week might give away the plan. It clearly shows what looks like a deep welding mark around one of the structures outside the arena holding up the roof. I think that they might look to lower the two structures and reduce the angle that the roof leaving it completely self supporting{no need for rods} and no need to work inside the arena/delay pitch being laid. Thoughts.

Hope so. Although their are logistical/financial reasons why many fans cannot get to all games{me included} we should attempt as many as possible. O.k so many fans go pay per-view If we expect the players to honour the shirt, history and tradition of the club the least we can all expect is to fill the stadium this season. We as fans have no european games to pay for. I think that we can fill up this season and if the team performs then who knows. I do know one thing for sure. With the design of the new stadium when full will create a noise that can make us all believe again that everything is possible
1King July 5th, 2011, 06:40 AM the stadium is coming along great...easily the best in Italy
summertimes July 5th, 2011, 07:40 AM Inter Alleged To Have Committed Sporting Fraud During Calciopoli By Lead Figc Investigator
Former Italian champions were involved in trying to 'condition' the Italian referee sector 'to gain an advantage' during the Calciopoli scandal, claims chief investigator
Inter are alleged to have committed sporting fraud during Calciopoli by the same man who last week said Juventus had no chance of having their 2006 Scudetto handed back.
Figc (Italian FA) chief investigator Stefano Palazzi believes Inter are responsible for having committed sporting fraud during the 2005-06 season which subsequently led to the football scandal in Italy.
Speaking to Ansa, Palazzi said: "Inter violated the article relative to sporting fraud with regards to the possibility of taking advantages in the standings."
His comments are based on what has emerged from the current Calciopoli 2 trial at the Tribunal of Naples where evidence shows former Inter directors had contact with referees and a number of other high-profile Italian football leaders between 2004 and 2006.
Transcripts from wire taps identified by the Tribunal of Naples showed Former Inter president Giacinto Facchetti had regular contact with former referee designators Paolo Bergamo and Pier Luigi Pairetto.
Palazzi also claimed Inter were "directly responsible for having secured an advantage in the league standings by conditioning the regular function of the referee sector."
Last week, the Figc said Juventus had "no significant case" following their appeal to have their 2006 Scudetto, which was revoked and then assigned to Inter, handed back.
The case into Juve's appeal was closed, but the federal court of the Figc is expected to meet again on July 5 and 18 to discuss the latest developments.
Palazzi was instructed to pour over all the evidence that emerged a year ago in the Naples trial and needed to come to a conclusion as to whether the information was a) irrelevant b) too late because the statute of limitations had expired c) reopen the case.
Because it took the douchebag a year and change to conclude his “investigation” (which took 3 weeks in 2006) the entire thing fell out of statute which means no one will be getting further punished.
The title Guido Rossi handed Inter can still be revoked however and likely will when the league officials convene for a meeting on July 18th.
His 72 page release states a few key points.
Remember that Juventus was never relegated for article 6 violations (attempts at obtaining an advantage in the standings through actions like match fixing) because none could be found. The team was relegated due to a summarization of article 1 violations (unsportsmanlike conduct) which up until that point had only ever resulted in fines and in extreme cases 1-3 point penalty.
The release from Palazzi (FIGC Chief Investigator) claims that had the information been analyzed properly in 2006 the following people and their respective teams would have been found guilty of violating article 1 along with Juventus:
Cellino (Cagliari), Campedelli (Chievo), Foschi (Palermo), Gasparin (Vicenza), Governato (Brescia), Corsi (Empoli), Spalletti (Udinese, coach), Foti (Reggina), Moratti (Inter) and Meani (Milan).
The following would have been found guilty of violating article 6 and should have therefore been relegated:
Spinelli (Livorno), Facchetti (Inter) and Meani (Milan).
In other words Juventus should have never been relegated and Inter, Milan and Livorno should have been.

Agree with summertimes summery re championship. However, I don't think we will get it back. That would only open up numerous other enquiries that the authorities would not care to look into.
I also think that although the stadium looks fantastic that we have deliberately compromised too much on the tricolour on the outside as well as that on the seating inside as a way of brokering a championship back. It won't work. Our president should have known better. JUVE NEVER COMPROMISE. This is in our DNA. I wonder what you make of my comments:lol:
Curva Nord July 5th, 2011, 12:59 PM The words of Moggi:
Moggi Anger: The offense is Inter, Juve Scudetto - After reading the report Buildings, Moggi is also a fury, but he has good reason. Monster banged on the front page, away from the football world to invent a rule to expel, and all lived with the knowledge that this was all an immense terrible farce, that others did not care, that their calls were not there, so he had to buy him the CD with the interception and transcribe them: and he could hear, and we with him, the voices of Facchetti and Moratti, who spoke with referees and umpires and designators 4-3-3 foreclosed, while in Narducci background relied on feelings and reading of coughing.
This is now his speech on Radio 24: "We want radiarci a violation of Article 1, Inter have exceeded the limits with Article 6, which is even more serious. I do not think that the so-called 'gang of honest 'can still be called so. The story of the championship I have no opinion, will decide the Federation, which will certainly reflect on what he did in 2006. I do not think that time has been done a good job.The Inter offense does not surprise me, and I'm glad the process of Naples is at least some truth emerged. I have no feeling of revenge, I only have the desire and the desire to defend myself. "
And Tuttojuve.com: "It 'a shame. We give the radiation and sporting justice has confirmed that our sins were non-existent, we are getting ourselves Article 1 and Article 6 of them. Go ahead, because that is the Scudetto Juve, although the company did nothing to get justice. I'm thinking I am alone to do justice to that glorious team. Attention to another aspect. The Federation, in my opinion, is likely to be commissioner. There is only a statement that the delivery of the 2006 Scudetto to Inter. I think its not enough. I laugh but there is crying. Now the truth comes out, hopefully not too late. "

Moggi could have been the best player negotiator ever had he not been greedy. Whatever happens we need to understand/support Juve's current administration distancing themselves from Moggi's comments. There has never been any doubt that many other club's crimes were worse than ours, but it must have taken the combined power of both Milanese club's to start the whole issue rolling. How many Milanese would have stayed had they gone down. Simple-none. Look at the way Milan lost the Champions League to Liverpool. 3-0 up to loosing. I don't think so!!. I bet the bank notes were flying all over the place. They should not have even been allowed into the competition.
The truly sad thing for Moggi{dispite his part} and our current administration is that particularly Moggi has such an ego he thinks that he knows all of the answers. Those Milanese know differently. They know for sure that Moggi has no clues to all of the questions. The prosecutors are to afraid to go to the very top. Why should they. The main man is already being investigated for other alleged crimes. I do not really want an eye-for-an-eye, but I do want back what is ours. My flag will have it's 3 stars on it regardless. If the prosecutors want to they can all go and play for the milanese. They all deserve eachother. They are all about the money. Juve have always known differently. Winning is important. But so is how you do it.
They will find out one way or another that you cannot buy people, class or integrity.
Forza Juve.

That looks like final preparations before laying the turf. I heard that in 10-12 days the grass will be ready.

Andre_idol July 5th, 2011, 11:47 PM ^^Perhaps you wanna give some space to away team supporters. There must be a maximum of 35k season tickets to sell. This way they can have game tickets at high prices for big games.

Away sector is about 2k seats ;)
I think that seats in front of cables will not been sold...the same for high prize seats in West Stand.
It should be really good reach 40k, but I think impossible. The stadium will be anyway always almost full next years, just because it's new and all Juve supporters in Italy (and abroad) like visiting it.

Forza Juve!
juvemikey July 6th, 2011, 03:14 AM I'll be disapointed if the stadium is not full all season. I agree that we will get overseas fans making occasional trips. Maybe the bigger picture is that we have lost some of the stadium fans of 5-15 years ago because of performances/poor stadiums and scandal. The new stadium may go some way to bring a small percentage back but performances will hold the key. Here's hoping. I don't think we should offer more away fans seats. That would reflect badly on our support. Recent pictures look amazing.
juvemikey July 6th, 2011, 03:29 AM Forgot to ask earlier. Does anyone know when the exact order of fixtures for this season comes out.
Igorian July 6th, 2011, 08:20 AM Hello,
Been watching the discussion. Even if there will 30k seasonal tickets sold that doesn't mean on match day the stadium will not be full because other fans can still buy one match regular tickets can't they?

I am sure there will be a limit for season ticket holders giving a chance to one timers. The minimum away supporter seats are atleast 5% of the full capacity. In Juventus Arena it will be around 2000.
Looking at the average attendance of Bundsliga teams is quite high as the quality of stadium is high. So a team like Juventus with a big worldwide reach will have the stadium full and with a lot of noise but that it will require some marketing of the stadium which has already been done. High attendance and great atmosphere for the Bianconeri is guaranteed :)

But this pink shirt shows the history of Juventus so they want this to begin again :)

Ash, take a look at this wonderful article -> http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/editorial/2011/07/06/2562245/the-irreparable-relationship-inter-juventus-is-now-the ;)
It describes well the situation, in english language (it's not easy speak of it in a non-italian language)
Yes.
8th september inauguration match against Manchester United.
11th september first official match of Serie A.
Just 2 months and dream come true!
Curva, Only 3 days before the start of season will be Man Utd. seems to close to risk injury or tiredness..?
kenan20 July 6th, 2011, 11:54 PM well come back Juve. Europe wait you.
I too.
come on old lady. CL wait you.
juvemikey July 6th, 2011, 11:55 PM Great pictures of the dressing room. Man.u will do for the opener. Great respect between the two clubs, particularly during the Lippi era. Man.u will have already started their season by then so I don't think their will be an injury risk. It will be good for some of our own players to get used to the pitch and atmosphere before the first real game. Can't wait.
Also looks promising with new players. I agree with Gigi though. Any huge transferes/wage earners need to want to come. Personally I hope we get Rossi. I think that Sergio wants Real. What do you guys think.
Forza Juve.:banana::banana::banana:

I think it will be an easy friendly match, like the match of retire from football of G.Neville :)
Just a party of football between two legendary teams!
PS: anyway season will start at the end of august, but Juve ask to federation to play first match away and second home. ;)

my opinion :
-atletico want more money
-aguero prefers juve.
Juve should have already presented him a serious proposal and I am sure Juve made sure he will be treated as Juve were with Nedved... and I guess its almost safe to assume he could be del piero's successor.

But looks great.
BTW the classic kit is black-white striped one
But whats the classic short / sox combination?
Balck sort and black soxs or white ones?
Curva Nord July 7th, 2011, 11:58 AM The classic kit is black and white stripes for t-shirt, white for short and soxs.
In some matches Juve play with black short and soxs, but official and old colour is white ;)

Like the Ferrari of Serie A, congratulations to Juve. Dressing rooms totally match the stadium style and quality.
Andrju_juvee July 7th, 2011, 07:02 PM the last time when juve have ping shirts was in 02/03 sezon and i was the worst shirts in serie a , i think away shirts is bad :( nothing special but home kits is very good . Adidas make bether shirts than nike :/

Actually some seasons they play with black shorts & socks...:wink2:
It depends on the season. But historically have mostly played with white shorts.
I actually prefer black. 97-98 kits was the best hands down.

Could be ADP successor, although not sure about set piece skills. I think that Pavel came into a different Juve set-up and a decent team able to qualify for CL. I'm sure that we could afford the fee but wage demands will be the test for us. I'll still go Real for Aguero or staying one year at Athletico. If he were to end up at Man.C it will not say too much about ambition. City have little chance of the premier League/no chance C.L next season. I think that we need another central defender to partner Georgio also.
Google1998 July 7th, 2011, 11:42 PM i like how it was personalised
AzeemClark July 8th, 2011, 12:22 AM Aguero is a gem of a player but If were in Juventus I would have gone for G. Rossi because he is Italian and can score goals. All of our attackers (Quagliarela, Matri, Del Piero, Amauri, Toni) all are right footed... bringing in Rossi who is left footed will bring versetality in Juve attack. I am huge fan of Nani and as I mentioned before he should be there in Juves left wing. Felipe Melo should go.
Juve's defence need be strengthen by brining someone like Vidic but he doesn't want to come. Juve should bring in Mertsacker bcoz Bremen are struggling. Juve should pounce on this one ;)
Andre_idol July 8th, 2011, 01:19 AM The white shirt looks fantastic :)

I think you're spot on. Not to mention Rossi would save us upto 15 million compared to Aguero, lesser wages....AND he is a better creator than Aguero
andysimo123 July 8th, 2011, 03:26 PM Where has this Manchester United thing to open the stadium come from?

I want to remember all of you that pink shirt have a reason why: it was the first colour of the team from 1897 to 1903.
After 1903 John Savage, a team member, asked to a friend (supporter of notts county) to send new sets for the team and he sent sets like notts's ones.
from that moment juve started to be striped like notts ;) (please sorry for my bad english)

Yes , it is very good - return to history , but we live in XXI century and the shirt can be made better , Palermo play in pink shirts and it isnt bad , btw it isnt most important to have the most beuty shirts but the team must play very well . I hope we sing : Bastos and one very good striker , maybe not agerro but Rossi ? in this time juve have very good forward line : Matri , Quaria , Del Piero and Iaqinta (in good form he is very precious player) Toni and Amauri - nooooo !! , what player like amauri do in juve ?!!

AzeemClark July 8th, 2011, 08:52 PM Absolutely perfect stadium for football. The seats got completed in no time at all. Heard that the roof is also complete. Indeed the work is going really fast. Now I am sure it will be ready for the start of the season :)

Axelferis July 9th, 2011, 09:37 AM I can't wait guys of EA coming in Lille doing the same for fifa 13
I was suspecting Fifa guys to not wait end of works to modelize this stadium. They did it for Wembley.
I think they work on the plans that constructor publishes and rendrers too.
When i play with Liverpool in fifa online parties, juve is hard to beat because chance and referees are in their favour all the time like in reality
Curva Nord July 9th, 2011, 09:51 AM Ahah, I now understand because of your hate for Juve: they usually beat you in FIFA :D
AshVentini July 9th, 2011, 10:05 AM Ahah, I now understand because of your hate for Juve: they usually beat you in FIFA :D
Curva, also think about this. Axel loves Inter also. Liverpool are similar to Inter until they created Calciopoli. They have history of success but have not won anything (apart from one lucky CL) in the last 20 yrs or so. Liverpool were once a great team, but are not a big club now and try live on distant history. His dislike for Juve is envy!
I thought children in France had school on Saturday? So why he posts? Oh maybe school is closed for summer...
I suppose its Fifa 11 and trolling for his day then...

Mrs.Sissy July 9th, 2011, 10:26 AM Shocked by how wonderful this stadium turned out. Looked so average in the renders. The interior, the exterior, the concourse...all incredible.
It was never average because if you see the inside and the material used you should know.
But i realize at the first sample of rendering it seemed just too plain. Now with the unique appearence of the outside and nice contrast colours for a stadium,& many more make it surely unique obvouisly when you see old trafford or other bigger stadiums you see it small but remember they were restructed at some point & in italy things are still in old times where as they still need to pass from the experience other countries passed.
Altough then again modern stadiums well not be more than 70k seated i thing its uefa regulation for optimum visibility only in their respective league they add up some of them.
Mrs.Sissy July 9th, 2011, 10:29 AM :D
Sorry but are the images you posted from that particular site ?
It does look a little too much black & few white what you think ?
At night if the poles have led it will look amazing although it already look very smart rendered from the leds in stadium & that emblem fits perfectly on the other hand the big tvs look small ><

haha thats why you hate them so much haha........
They should have waited in my opinion to see it finished or maybe postponed for next year because although its not the biggest one its smart and its colours make it particular & unique contrasting one so if you lose some aspects you lose it all.
I hope they leave old delle alpi there or at least the new one call it like that in europe because in the end its a modernised stadium on the same area built on that huge old delle alpi temple.
It should be nice that games make a rendering inside like a museum for stadiums & football teams history , i don't know if you agree but i would really appreciate it.
DimitriB July 9th, 2011, 12:17 PM it strikes me that the support posts in the corner are not there.

I don't think EA have an interest for ou future stadium in Lille. They under note all years the LOSC, we have the same level as Osasuna, Wigan or Chievo :ohno:. EA doesn't have interest for Ligue 1, and its stadium.
kerouac1848 July 9th, 2011, 02:21 PM Going for between 33-35k season tickets makes sense as that leaves 5-7k tickets for other fans unable to get a season one, plus the general public/neutral individuals as well as some of the corporate lot (not all will want to hold onto luxury seats for the entire season). Even 30k will probably be fine as that's fewer than 10k matchday tickets once away fans are taken out.
delsa July 9th, 2011, 02:24 PM 1280 - 800 I think.
