4.5/10 The only thing that dosent makes this a 3, is the twin towers. They are pretty neat. :D

BTW, is it just me, or does the israelis allways give their cities, no matter how crappy the skyline is, 10/10 ?! :bash:

Looks good city!

never heard of this place in my mind. 4.5/10 from me. The building look kinda old from the first and last picture. Lack of dense and height is another factor. anyway, good job keep go on...

I love the city, but it's skyline is... nonexistant. :D

that's caused by an enormous industrial complex between two nuclei of the metropolitan area, that includes:
an oil refinery, a fossil fuel power plant, Israel's largest seaport, an airport, and about a dozen chemical factories of different sorts, which inhibit the developement of the area. Oh, there's also a defunct. landfill. :D


On happier news, government plan for 2020 includes slimming down the heavy industry, the construction of a freeway system, and oppening that area, destined to be the center of Israel's second largest metropolis, to some highrise developement.


we're a small city, in relation to Tel Aviv, and Tel Aviv is like a vampire, sucking the graduates of our TWO universities, as well as other younger people, but we still have our own assets, and we will be strong, as well. :)

Anyways, beautiful city.... which is good, because I came to this forum specifically looking for pictures of Haifa. My best friend is probably leaving the U.S. soon (for Aliyah...I think that is the word), and she has chosen Haifa as the place she wants to move... I wanted to make sure it would be a fun place to visit :)

Haifa is a special city, my favourite in Israel and one of my favourites in the Middle East. I haven't got an opportunity to visit it yet but I would love to do it. So from me 10/10. ;)

got to be fair, 4.5 from me. the city is beautiful and vibrant. nice architectures on the hillside. however, as a skyline, there's nothing remarkable. It lacks the "ohhh,woww" effect, if you know what I mean. hopefully in few years time, there'll be more talls. the city seems to have a lot of potentials.
