I GOT A COOL PROJECT NOW

This project has been lying in our offices from 2004, its finaly starting to move along again!

Very nice apartments, spacious, not sure on the prices as yet, but Im sure they pretty steep. They have a shit load of sercurity in this place, very high tech stuff, also they got the whole road monitored, so you know you going to be safe in this place.

Will give more info on the project when I get it, eg: start & completion of project, etc...

F*ck, Thryve I missed the "N" in the Thread name, please can you add it in please, it suppose to read # 7 on Poynton........

No prob's Mike, theres also another dev on the berea that I dont see listed anywhere or units on sale, its when you going up Marriot road, I think its near the corner of Musgrave & Marriot, it looks like 4 units, 2 levels, the view from there is cool I know I went to see that site a few years back.

I like this one. Very easy on the eye and in keeping wth Durban's sexy, curvy look. Thanks for posting, DB.

Yeah there are 3...the one near girls college which is complete, another also on musgrave past marriot going south which is the one i think u talking about, and the another one that at 3F now about 150m further along musgrave.

Plus there is one top of silverton road at 5F now, see it from musgrave centre when i go down the spiral exit but cant ever seem to find when i drive in the area trying to find it!!!

Trust me, mate, if I could work in SA (and convince my wife to move), I'd do it. The price difference in housing alone might offset the lower wages. The US is so expensive compared to SA - it's depressing. We bought a less than ordinary (albeit in an above ordinary suburb), 60-year old house outside Washington last year, just before we went to Durban. When we got to Durban, we nearly cried when we looked at the property sections in the newspapers, and saw that most houses in Mt. Edgecombe, Kloof, and the Berea cost less...And those houses are a hell of alot nicer than ours! :ohno:

I do like this building though. But I wouldn't actually take 2 units, since I (gasp) prefer estates. (Getting married and contemplating kids will do that to you. Right, SA Boy?)

Well for those of not ever having kids its a different story. :)

Mt Edgecombe is nice but i could not survive an estate. the closeness of neighbours and everyone wanting to know all ur business peering thru windows...nah thanx

^^LOL! get an estate where your neighbor is half a km away from you.

This place is nice for semi elderly couples or newly marrieds that dont plan of having kid's immeaditly. but it has got 3 bedrooms, so I guess kids are not totally out of the picture in a place like this.

whats wrong with that guy? cant he read the thread name? & see DURBAN written there?

Durbsboi

The thing that will attract folk to these units, is its openess. The design maximises its position with the views of the city, I admit the design could have been better, but its got lovely massive balcony's, I would have liked to see the lounge on the edge of the building with a huge window over looking the city, like how most flats in the area have.
