Great projects. It was about time for Milan to show its real power in the EU and have modern and very tall towers.
I heard Cesar Pelli had a project for Milan and from the small renders I've seen before it seemed to be that tower with a big spire. Can you confirm that?

The thing that this city was lacking was an ultra modern district
Finally Milano will have its Canary Wharf or its La defense, Bene per Milano!!!

guys, that's an incredible day.

finally it was presented the final Masterplan for the entire Garibaldi-Repubblica-Isola-Varesine area, which is called "Porta Nuova".

In the next days will be open to the general public a showroom, with all the renderings, plastics of the huge development plan.

Here I will post some of these renderings, enjoy:

great, the tallest building in Italy is actually UC.
It will be over 200m with the spire
and it is just e few hundred meters from the Altra Sede building (163m)

Tony Bild's update...From left to right, you can see the Pelli Tower u/c (145m, 215 with the pinnacle), the Fs towers in recladding , the Isola-area, the Lombardy Region Tower u/c, and the Comune and Pirelli towers on the right.

I reckon we have more cranes than people in this area! The dimension of the whole project is impressive!

Why isn't this in the skyscrapers section? Pelli's tower should be 200m+ isn't it? Pictures mostly show its construction
