this is my second trip to Jakarta but the first time was many years ago when i was very young so i dont really remember much of that visit, so you can consider this like a first trip. i was surprised by the number of building construction and of course the malls & stores :)

^^ you mean the luxurious goods??? or other things??

Many items are cheaper in Indonesia
CD, DVD, Phone Cell, Not to mention all clothes in Matahari Dept Store
For branded items I think KL slighly cheaper

For luxury items KL is definitely cheaper, it's one of the cheapest in Asia I believe...Jakarta still has a long way to go in terms of being a luxury shopping destination..
