hi, I just returned from a work related trip to Jakarta of 2days. Didnt get to see much of your capital city and mostly at night after work so didnt take many pics:( I did take lots of daytime pics while travelling to & from work and the hotel. come share my impressions....

yes, thats right. the trip was good but i really didnt get to go around much, hope I get more time to sightsee & go shopping next time :okay:

this is my second trip to Jakarta but the first time was many years ago when i was very young so i dont really remember much of that visit, so you can consider this like a first trip. i was surprised by the number of building construction and of course the malls & stores :)

Many items are cheaper in Indonesia
CD, DVD, Phone Cell, Not to mention all clothes in Matahari Dept Store
For branded items I think KL slighly cheaper

For luxury items KL is definitely cheaper, it's one of the cheapest in Asia I believe...Jakarta still has a long way to go in terms of being a luxury shopping destination..
