i think this is the one of the less popular buildings in Manila which is a shame... it really looks sleek and modern. This building is a gem... wouldve been great if this was in makati... hmm... prolly 180 meters?

wow, Fhoy's photo is incredible. We rarely get shots of Orient Square like that. This tower is among my favorites in Ortigas:)

took that photo from Discovery Centre habang umiihi sa rest room

this is taller than Malayan Plaza (145 meters) but shorter than Discovery (171 meters). so this sould be around 160 meters.

Nice to see from the outside but an insider is claiming that this tower is not reallt structurally sound.

I just found that our very own Orient Square is a (shorter) rip-off of Williams Tower (http://www.emporis.com/en/wm/bu/?id=williamstower-houston-tx-usa) in Houston. tsk.

Yeah. Too bad I really thought it was Orient Square. Akala ko tuloy may fan na yung bldg natin sa ibang bansa.

venntro
April 24th, 2007, 06:13 AM
^^ It's near the area of Megamall and Podium but it's still around a 10-15 minute walk to the mall. But I think Orient Square is an office tower.

OMG! Ngayon ko lang to nakita! I just looked at the photo and I thought Orient Square became taller by the minute! I didn't realize that it was a building in Texas and the building on the foreground was an unknown building for me. :(

Agree! I think it would complement PBCom. :D

It sure is similar but the williams tower is shorter and it has a blunt type of color on the building where as orient square is an improved version of williams.

It's stealthy. The reflections it creates make the building appear like it is invisible.
