ginaling nga pilit nga ginpalapad kag gintusmaw sa nagabukal nga tubig ... once gani maglutaw na sa ibabaw ... ready na!

amo na nga gintawad nila nga "palitaw" ...:lol:

dayon mo kanduson kag patuluon sa kalalaw ...

then budburan mo sing kalamay nga muscovado ... antis kaunon ...

parisan mo sing mainit nga kape ... ukon mabugnaw nga Koks ... :banana::banana::banana:

mmm ... da best ! :okay::okay::okay:

btw ... hinayon mo lang usang kay basi magpilit sa imo nga ngislô ... or worst, sa pustiso mo ... j/k ... :lol::lol::lol:

hahaha! namit guid man sang palitaw... once ko lang na natilawan, pero, the taste was imprinted in my mind kay kanamit. hehehe. wow! KBL... ma pati ka migs wala "batuan" sa manila? ka endemic guid na sang batuan sa western visayan cooking ah. :lol:

im not sure about inday inday... heard of it, but i havent tasted it yet. or maybe, i had it before but didnt recognized it. i dont know if you heard about palitaw? i also love the native bibingka being sold by vendors outside the jaro cathedral. during december nights, after going to church, you really can sense the thristmas spirit in the air. going to the jaro cathedral is never complete without us buying those bibingkas. compared to the ferino's bibinka of manila, our bibingka has a distinct homemade taste. ka ilonggo guid ah.

i DONT LIKE palitaw :lol: amogn the few native food items na i dont like. :bash:

though i like MASI that one pasalubong from cebu. daw palitaw sya nga ginhimo nga balls :lol: pero daw may peanut sa sulod

but instead of sweet beans ... sweet peanut chunks ang unod ...
kag wala sing lunga ... just plain sticky rice wrap ... namets!:)

yup something like that. its a great pasalubong item from CEBU and barato pa. 85 pesos yata for a box of a hundred. very delicious and addicting. its actually like a tikoy ball with chopped peanut filling
once you pop, you cant/wont stop LOL

1) tisâ (or tiesâ) ... kasum-od sing bahô ... kag kasapnot sa puwak ... arrrkkk!:nuts:

2) gulang na nga balagay (sigarilyas in Tagalog)
kun linghod ok pa sa akon ... namit ilakot sa pinakbet ... kun gulang na ... perti kalangto ... bwarrrkkk! :ohno:

I love all the pictures nga na post diri espacially ang mga laswa, kbl, bibingka, etc., what I hated the most is the "amargoso"... ma kadhat nga indi ko maintindihan sabor na. gaturok pa lang ko, daw ma digwa ron ko...

manamit ang pinamarhan nga aloy or bilong-bilong nga gin prito with sinamak...and ang lukos nga gagmay nga adobo (may langgaw nga duro) nga perti ka itum-itum sabaw na with kan-on nga kapog, ga tap-ok eh!

Gaisano closed but Atrium opened...There could be a probability that they've just transferred location.

Usually, mobile stores are operated by a branch or provincial/regional office or franchise which has an established store.

based sa mga iloilo restaurant chains, kadamu na guid sang mga fast-food chains sa iloilo... multiple chains of sbarros, red ribbons and even yellow cab pizza. sang una, daw ka labo nga magkaladto sila sa iloilo, except sbarro na ara na sa sm delgado before. i still remember those days, when nag open ang ist dunkin donuts store sa iloilo kag guina pilahan sang mga tao... hahaha :lol:

^^ to htink SBARRO predated the entry of pizza hut and was already a located in the OLD sm delgado building.

dairy queen at the old sm delgado building closed shop even before the building was renovated and i doubt if it will be coming back soon.

by the way, is ICE MONSTER still at sm city?havent really checked it out recently at the foodcourt where i had it before :lol:

pochero would be the easiest one to make at home so anytime pwede tapos versatile sya ..... you can use any veggie

I got a really weird dream last night. Before ko natulogan, I was browsing through my pictures, one of them was of Zacega's cream horn (namit xa gle btw). Sang natulogan ko, I had a dream nga ara ako sa assumption and I was asking the old cashiers in the canteen where they used to buy their cream puffs, wala ko nabatian ila sabat kay nabugtawan ko dayun. Dugay ko na ina guina panumdom actually kay namian guid ko na sang una sang gradeschool pa ko (9 years ago) galing nahuya man ko mag sulod sa canteen para lang guid mag bakal cream puff or mamangkot kung diin nila guina bakal. Langka gd... Diin ayhan gabaligya sang namit nga creampuff sa Iloilo?

i watched the pacquiao-de la hoya bout last sunday at the east avenue branch of mang inasal. since i'm a regular there, they gave P50 discount for the ticket. that translated to P350 with a meal already. hehe

@Whyte...Suggestion lang ni migs...if your cam has a manual adjustment, try not use the flash then just increase the ISO (sensitivity) to maybe ISO200 to ISO 400 and have it in macro shot. Kay mas nami ang pagkaon kon wala sing flash...although budlay ni kay kinahanglan gid indi ka gakurog para indi mag-blur. Suggestion lang ni Nong Whyte...:)

@Whyte...Suggestion lang ni migs...if your cam has a manual adjustment, try not use the flash then just increase the ISO (sensitivity) to maybe ISO200 to ISO 400 and have it in macro shot. Kay mas nami ang pagkaon kon wala sing flash...although budlay ni kay kinahanglan gid indi ka gakurog para indi mag-blur. Suggestion lang ni Nong Whyte...:)

Chymera was right when he said that BAUHINIA'S cheesecakes DIDN'T TASE GOOD AS IT LOOKED....

natam-an sa gelatin so it tasted like pudding /panna cota pero sa presentation nami gid! pero id still visit bauhinia ang MIGHT even order them again hahaha ()dulgies still has the best cheesecakes in town.
namit ang BAUHINIA ICED TEA though the "tea" essence was lost due to the sweetenss of the fresh fruit juices.that was even before we had the cheesecakes ....guwa nya daw fruit juice

actually these orders (cheesecakes and iced tea) were inappropriately named .... kay sa cheesecake you'll LOOK ofr the cream cheese taste and tea essence sa iced which sadly they dont have pero if they were named BAUHINIA MOUSSE/PUDDING/PANNA COTTA; BAUHINIA TROPIC PUNCH then you'll have a blast :lol:

Gusto ko man mag try sang Mojave, last time didto ko tani makadto. Ang upod ko galing kakaon na didto ti nag kadto na lang kami sa Crave Restaurant kay wala pa kami duwa to ka try. Ang prices sang steak nila daw amu-amu man sa Mojave, naka butang sa menu nila nga high quality black angus imported from the U.S. blah blah. I was very disappointed sa ila steak, its very bland dasun ang sauce is average. I'd probably not go there again if I had a choice. Nugon lang, damo pa to tani nga perri todds burger kag pasta mabakal ko pero oh well, amo guid na ya kis-a.

what kind of steak did you order? if you don't mind my asking. (para next time may ara na ako idea nga indi gali namit ang amo na nga steak, hehhehe)

well sa mojave okey man ang steak nila, i think it depends sa imo nga gusto sa pag luto sa steak mo, if you have your steak well done or medium well, te indi na sya juicy, but if you have it medium rare then its juicy and i think more tastety (especially with tenderloin).

Ang prices sang steak nila daw amu-amu man sa Mojave, naka butang sa menu nila nga high quality black angus imported from the U.S. blah blah. I was very disappointed sa ila steak, its very bland dasun ang sauce is average. I'd probably not go there again if I had a choice. Nugon lang, damo pa to tani nga perri todds burger kag pasta mabakal ko pero oh well, amo guid na ya kis-a.

the perri todds owners would love you more :lol:

actually same "compound" sila. even they shared the same entrance from the main road. you have first to pass by family pensione house's main desk when you enter and lumpiga is literally steps away from the pensione house.
