Beautiful tower! I like how it contrasts so dramatically with the lowrise-scape. Is there an overall plan to place more highrises to cluster around this or is it meant to be a stand-alone skyscraper?

Raffles city the surrounding area is already planned. There are a few 40 storeys buildings will be built (well, one is already u/c up to 5th floor, one is doing the basement) in the next 5 years.

And mod please change the height in the title to 269m, not 263m, thanks.

Same city, different era.
The ex-government of South Vietnam with USA backed called their capitol "Sai Gon". The current communist government calls this comercial city "Ho Chi Minh".

So, it depends on who open this thread. If this person is from western country, he or she would labeled as "Sai Gon". If the person is inside Viet Nam, he or she would call "Ho Chi Minh". :)

Saigon is still the official name, Hochiminh city is only on the authority paper. All the people in Vietnam still refer to it as Saigon, except the communist government, or anti-saigon members. Heck even the airline code for the city is still using SGN (abbreviation for Saigon) instead of HCM.

Sleek and unique, but not a freak. It looks a lot less weird than I thought it would, comparing the rendering below with the recent UC photos. Great accent on an up and coming skyline.

Saigon is one of the BEST to never do it. - One of my favourite rappers.

Warning Shots is a hip hop classic in my opinion. Get that album.
Return Of The Yardfather is a sick mixtape. Royce Da 59" - Bar Exam 2 sick.

It probably won't come out as a full blown mainstream release. Saigon is a real artist but he has like zero commercial appeal.

That's a list of his CD's. - Try and get as many as you can. Saigon is a heavily slept on artist.
