Zmey September 24th, 2007, 07:31 PM ... Zmey September 24th, 2007, 07:39 PM It's great to see how much your place has improved! Yup, it so much better now. Some nationalist from RS desperately try to prove that this country is one huge failure and that there is no future, but facts show a bit different picture. Sure, it's still far from good, but if you have in mind all that destruction Bosnia's recovery is just stunning. :) Maybe it's not that much visible, but reforms we made under EU supervision are excellent, especially in education, economy (one strong currency instead of three like pre 1997), medical services, police etc. We still have long way to go before entering EU, but our EU future is unquestionable and that will definitely stabilize country for as long EU exists. flake20 September 24th, 2007, 08:42 PM I took this photo from my street, 35th Al Wasl, Dubai. http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/1210/szrskyline1tu1.jpg Daryae_Abi September 24th, 2007, 10:03 PM Yup, it so much better now. AND THIS HAPPINED AFTER WE REACHED THE MOON............HUMANITY ,SO BIG ,SO SMALL. Jünyus Brütüs September 25th, 2007, 12:52 PM can u go back to ur original town?..............did the serb and croat enclaves rejoin bosnia?...............did the refugees go back? AND THIS HAPPINED AFTER WE REACHED THE MOON............HUMANITY ,SO BIG ,SO SMALL. just wait to land Jupiter. You will see what happened to world. MoroccanChica September 25th, 2007, 11:33 PM Nope, I lived in central Bosnia in a Bosniak-Croat town (60-40%). The war in Sarajevo started in 1992 and just after one month we moved to Croatia as refugees. In 1993 we came back to BiH, just two weeks before the war came to my town. It came a year later because Bosniaks and Croats used to be allies and there were no Serbs living in that part of the country. However, the war started and I spent like 3 months in my aunts basement without ever going out. Finally, Croats won and we were put in concentration camp, almost like Auschwitz, just without those crematoriums. I remember my Croat neighbor crying when she saw my sister and me (we were separated from our parents) because we were unimaginably white and underfed. After that I moved to Zenica and then to Sarajevo to study. My grandfather, mother and older sister studied here and now I'm continuing the family tradition. :) :uh: Oh dear God! :ohno: Libra September 26th, 2007, 01:58 AM Zmey i'm sorry u suffered such a tragedy and i wish the best for bosnia. :) kheireddine September 26th, 2007, 07:59 PM http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/1838/mtl093photoahiat8.jpg (http://imageshack.us) http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/8357/221224xu9.jpg (http://imageshack.us) ZOHAR September 27th, 2007, 07:58 AM ^^sorry, but depressing! That's why they are in Canada. Well not all of the Iranians there are like this, some of them. Or maybe I'm drawing wrong conclusions here :) Proud to be Shirazi, Persian from Iran and not being an Arab :D hehe :D there you go a proud iranian :D Daryae_Abi October 8th, 2007, 11:14 PM Proud to be Shirazi, Persian from Iran and not being an Arab :D hehe :D there you go a proud iranian :D You shouldn't be proud of "not being" something. Especially when it is something that can coexist with what you say you are "proud" of! You know there are some Iranian Arabs (racial and language)? Are you saying they are less Iranian than you? Iranian is not a language, we have Iranians who speak Turkish and Armenian and other languages which are not Farsi. If we are going to go and take foreign influence out of our language, does this mean those Iranian who doesn't speak Farsi -- are not Iranian? This is a stupid discussion, Iran is too diverse to be language fashists. And I don't know if you should be so proud that Estalin liked your queen -- he was not Gandhi. Jayme October 9th, 2007, 02:29 AM awww its going off topic again kheireddine October 9th, 2007, 02:53 AM ^^ Guys, I begged the moderator to unlock the thread, PLEASE KEEP IT ABOUT YOUR STREET, Thanks Jayme October 9th, 2007, 03:48 AM Unlock the Threat ! :O lol i know what you meant i'll see if i can post another pic of my street kheireddine October 9th, 2007, 05:25 AM Unlock the Threat ! :O lol i know what you meant i'll see if i can post another pic of my street Typo error  Jayme October 9th, 2007, 08:24 AM edit Jayme October 9th, 2007, 08:25 AM This is My Fave STREET in the whole Australia IMG]http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g240/Jamie_Y/448063668_6417a05950_b.jpg[/IMG] http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g240/Jamie_Y/448066237_de374a0489_b.jpg http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g240/Jamie_Y/448066309_051e82899e_b.jpg http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g240/Jamie_Y/336670332_331d65370c_o.jpg http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g240/Jamie_Y/336670584_e9de76c467_o.jpg http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g240/Jamie_Y/475814612_08cc38b07d_o.jpg because the best show ( Neighbours) is made there !
