A planned boutique hotel at 1525 14th Street, N.W. in the Logan Heights neighbourhood will feature a decontructivist facade. This architectural style will be a first for Washington, D.C. Love it or hate it, it is coming soon.

Do you love it or do you hate it? And why?

I love it simply because it adds diversity to D.C.'s architectural landscape, but I would not want to see more than a couple of these in my city.

Architect: Sorg and Associates, P.C. based in Washington, D.C.

Interesting, but it's a model. Hard to say.

I do feel given height is not part of the DC architectural equation, that buildings like this need to be built to break up the monotony. So much of downtown DC is just a gigantic snore.
