The beautiful theatre at Dougga dates back to 168 CE, and was donated to the city by one of its wealthiest families. Its condition is so good that it used for the concerts at the Dougga Festival in summer:

I m uploading pictures from this magnificient sites . it is under the UNESCO list and the landscpae is just out of this world .

this city is so preserved that you can still see the tag in the old houses the streets etc .. The descendant of Thuggens lived in the city until 1952... when the New Thugga was built and it explains the preservation of the ruins ...!!!!!!!!
