Vasai Fort Mohim...............................................
On Last 11 March 2007 (Sunday) around 8 Members participated in Vasai Fort Conservation Mohim:- (From 7.30a.m To 5.30p.m)
The List Of Monuments where conservation activties taken place as follows :-
1. Chimaji Appa Samarak
2. Hanuman Mandir (Near Sea Gate)
3. Dominican Church
4. Balaji C. More Samadhi
Short Details Of Activties taken at each place as follows:-
1. Chimaji Appa Samarak
We remove unwanted small trees & crops which damage the monuments to a great extend. Aslo collect all the wastage thrown by Visitors Such as Plastic bottles, newspapers, plastic bages. after that we collect all the thrown stones of monuments near that area. Most of time consume in removing lots of crops near smarak area.
2. Hanuman Mandir (Near Sea Gate)
From last 2 week we are workinig on conservation of Hanuman Mandir (Near Sea Gate). On last time we clear most of small trees & crops near mandir area. This time we collect all the wastage thrown by visitors.This time we work on Sea gate which is just near to Hanuman Mandir. all the unwanted small trees routes which damages the monuments are removed.
3. Dominican Church
We collect all the wastage thrown by Visitors Such as Plastic bottles, newspapers, plastic bages.
4. Balaji C.More Samadhi
At every visit to Vasai Fort we make puja at Balaji C.More Samadhi (Which is just outside to fort). In this small temple area many of monuments which is closely related to the Maratha History are found. In this time visit we collect all the monuments & gathered them into temple.
In Our Next Vasai Fort Mohim we are going to start conservation at Hanuman Mandir Temple.(17 March & 18 March 2007)
Come together to save our great history before its too late.................
