View Full Version : Major Franchised Companies SLAA March 17th, 2007, 12:43 PM What are the major franchised companies in Sri Lanka? For example the ones I know are Delifrance, KFC, Coffee Bean (Airport), Levi's... I heard that there was a Hard Rock Cafe here, but it shut down... Is it true... Pizza Hut, Mcdonalds, Fila, Reebok, Adidas, Hilton, Citibank, HSBC, Standard Chartered, Triumph, DHL, FedEx, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, , Alot more I'm Guessing.. JKH said Keells Restaurants (Private) Limited and Crescat Restaurants (Private) Limited which held the franchises for Pizza Hut and Delifrance in Sri Lanka were sold to Gamma Pizzakraft Overseas (Private) Limited. The parent company of Gamma Pizzakraft has the franchise for Pizza Huts in the national capital region of Delhi in India, JKH said. Damn it ! JKH was doing an awesomely great job on those franchises (at least Pizza Hut), now they've been sold to an Indian Company ?...:ohno: I can't seem to find any info about them on the net yet though :bleep: PCK April 1st, 2007, 02:00 PM oh god...why did they sell it??? things wre pretty good...not saying the size of a pizza has reduced by quite a bit since the old days but hopefully the standards wont go down!!!! sjinadasa April 1st, 2007, 04:00 PM I trust our beloved JKH than any Indian Company on keeping the standards, Who owns the KFC and McDonalds by the way ? KFC seems to be expanding pretty fast but Mac seems to be stuck in the process.. Oh and we need our own World Class Local Fast Food Franchises. lordvader April 3rd, 2007, 01:29 AM ^^ They shouldve sold Pizza Hut to the KFC franchisee in SL due to the fact that the 2 brands are owned by the same company in the US! But Im sure the new owners will keep up the standards, so dont worry! |
