Currently the tallest buildings under construction in Melbourne at the moment until some of the big boys start mid year. I've put them together because it's a single development and 550 Bourke is only 6m under the 100m limit for this forum and I don't think it's worth starting a second seperate thread for it.

If they get the glass right, it'll be good, and if it isn't good it's alright i guess, it's basically hidden from view while outside the CBD.

It'll be visible from New Quay until the powerstation redevelopment gets underway but aside from that it's practically crowded out from most other angles.

I think this is a very nice building, I like the texture of the exterior alot. It looks somewhat futuristic.

That should change over the next year but yeah at the moment we're getting a lot of buildings in the 90m-120m range which fill in a few gaps in the skyline. Hopefully by the end of the year Prima (226m) will have started, as well as the tallest of the CUB towers (204m) and possibly one of the Powerstation towers (180-200m+ range).

I like the colour of Glass on the building. I don't think I have seen one with that colour glass before.:cheers:

The laneway is open tot he Public now. some cafes and shops are setting up businesses and will start to open towards the end of 2008.

Nice to see towers going up in Melbourne. Keep us posted.
