Caiman March 22nd, 2007, 06:42 PM They're occupying Deloitte's old space eh? timo March 23rd, 2007, 11:03 AM yes i believe so where did deloittes go? markydeedrop March 23rd, 2007, 11:27 AM There are in with the MEN boys in Spinningfields. andysimo123 March 23rd, 2007, 12:38 PM AIG are a massive company. They are so big it would blow your mind to work out how big they are. Afew offices in Manchester is nothing to them. The big thing having the offices must be so the can work with United. Also they do have a large investment in Manchester which is United. I think they have lent alot of the money to buy the club and they also have a £56 Million Sponsorship deal. Btw AIG own ILFC the worlds biggest aircraft leasing company and they have ordered 10 A380s. That sort of puts it in context of just how big they are. majormystery March 23rd, 2007, 12:47 PM The company is valued at about £85bn. andysimo123 March 23rd, 2007, 12:53 PM The company is valued at about £85bn. and they are the 4 biggest company in the world, well that's what it says on Wikipedia. majormystery March 23rd, 2007, 02:19 PM and they are the 4 biggest company in the world, well that's what it says on Wikipedia. I'm not sure about that. Microsoft, General Electric, Citigroup, HSBC, ExxonMobil, Shell. A few companies larger off the top of my head. andysimo123 March 23rd, 2007, 07:08 PM I'm not sure about that. Microsoft, General Electric, Citigroup, HSBC, ExxonMobil, Shell. A few companies larger off the top of my head. In terms of Revenue AIG are miles bigger than Microsoft and HSBC. The others are bigger than AIG in terms of Revenue but I don't know the values. nerd March 23rd, 2007, 08:28 PM The big thing having the offices must be so the can work with United. so why don't they open their offices in Guildford or Slough (or even Stretford perhaps). I suspect they have been misinformed. Sir Miles Platting March 24th, 2007, 03:38 AM so why don't they open their offices in Guildford or Slough (or even Stretford perhaps). Wiseguy..... happy gilmore March 24th, 2007, 04:43 PM i met half of the heads of this company at a conference not so long ago,a real nice bunch,i asked them how they got the sponsership deal for united(which they were as happy as larry about)and they told me their reputation won out as opposed to mansion, they also had an ex united player who works for them who is an american,i can't remember his name but he played in 93 in the reserves-he only got 3 minutes of 1st team football and he was a centreback. |
